The arthro is the perfect mount for the ice cave just bring an otter for the warmth and an arthro and you’re fine
And 2 or 1 piece of asnd fur
My game crashed and my otter is not in my body after that i dismount and get attack by a yeti
I eat danger noodles for breakfast, lunch, and DINNER!

Don't let your guard down tho, sometimes creatures hit you a few times when using the arthro. And using weapons on the arthro will aggro wild creatures

You could tame high level dire wolf by going to the hardest cave which is the Ice Cave you just need to kill him and get his implant now go to an obelisk to revive him but cost 30 amber make sure on the obelisk make a trap for it or just ready your bolas...

Schwalbe, you can do the same with an Araneo and you can attack land creatures without them agroing on you except for Onyc. But if you attack the creatures yourself whilst on the back of the Araneo, they agro.

I did this cave on easy with a 180 wolf that had an asc flak helmet from the admins with 1400 dura and 1300 armor. We fought most of the things and halfway out after getting the artifact his helm broke and he almost died (bruh 5 yetis 10 onycs and another 10 wolves of crazy levels is too much for him) then we fell in freezing water. I took his implant and helm before dying and respawning. He was still alive because he was out of render so i requested him. I was on casual so i still had the artifact, and now the wolf is safe and recovered :D
the arthro noodle centipede thingy can scale through anything easily
The bow is decent for hard difficulty but usually you wanna aim for a 1000+ dmg bow

You know its surprisingly easy to just run in and grab the artifact and run back out, well for me it is usually after i grab the artifact most of the stuff chasing me sometimes despawn for some reason

Yeah man, the first and last time I went up the snow mountain I was like, huh big Dino as I was riding my eagle. Died in like 2 seconds.
Also u can tame then in hunter cave and its possible to get max ones i found one when i was first doing it with my barry a lvl 150 for medium

Im pretty sure someone props already put this in the comments but i’ve done the basilosaurus hunt many times and i think the best you can get on a bow is 1200

Yes that is a good bow! But once i got a bow with 1047 from hunt basi pursuit
U can fit a raptor in there. I got my 10k health 1200% damage with a 180 armor saddle raptor in there
I play on medium not hard, but I have a compound bow that deals 1007 damage. I got it from the basalosaur hunt pursuit. I would think for your difficulty that isn’t that great. But it isn’t terrible. I don’t know how high you can get it, but I’m sure you can do better.
I play brutal and any compound bow above 1k dam is pretty good

You can kill the other creatures while sneaking with an arthropluera , they won’t even attack you back, well except the onyc
