Why can’t I claim copyright to AI-generated content if I am the one who produced the query that generated the synthetic content?
Because AI content generation models leverage the IP of many artists and their content, AI-generated content ownership cannot be assigned to an individual. Per our Contributor Terms of Service (Sections 13d and 13f), contributors must have proven IP ownership of all content that is submitted. As such, AI-generated content should not be submitted to Shutterstock.
Some of the information in this video is incorrect and misleading. To submit AI content to Adobe Stock, you will have to provide a signed Model Release for any images that feature people (as in the example here). If you have simply imported an image from a stock site, you will not be able to provide this. Also, just because an image is free to use on a stock website, it doesn't mean that you can take the shot and use it as the basis for a piece of AI which you then sell for your own benefit. Even though the image is free to use, the copyright of that image still remains with the original photographer - you can't just change a few details, claim it's your own original work and then try to monetise it.
I want to ask, I have been uploading with human images for years. but always rejected by Shutterstock, the reason is that there must be permission when I photograph humans. Please help me so that my photos with humans can be accepted by Shutterstock.
well,as far as i know. you can always upload such images containing recognizable human faces selecting editorial as additional info. hope that satisfies you.
Shutterstock does not allow us to upload Ai images... They have their own Ai images generator instead lol

They have their own ai to identify ai images lol ,I uploaded 150 midjourney images and only 5 were accepted other were detected as ai
