@thecranberrycornstalkby..., Too cute, each with so much character, and it's own personality ❤. What weight thread do you recommend for hand stitches and for machine sewing? Hope my beginner sewing mistakes become part of its charm 😊

Ohhh my GOSH..... I LOVE her too ❤
I will definitely make one. Great thing is, is that I have everything you used on hand, including the corn husk. I saved some from the corn stalks I had for Fall decorating. I LOVE her twig hair, I'll take apart a small twig wreath that I've had for at least 20 + years...lol
Thank you Very much for sharing your doll, she's Wonderful.

Awe cute! I love making dolls too!
The cinnamon doesn't keep your coffee from molding.
I made a bunch of horses with coffee and cinnamon. I noticed after 2 months they were getting moldy.
The vanilla is what keeps it from getting moldy.
The alcohol I the vanilla is what works. If I don't have vanilla I put a splash of rubbing get alcohol in it.
There are certain sticks that don't get dry and brittle.
I don't know what they are called. Most gets dry and brittle.
    Fun stuff!
    Great Stress Therapy. ♡

Have you ever used crushed walnut shells or lizard litter as a filler? I use it when filling cross stitch pillows along with mountain mist filler. I also love sawdust as a filler. The only problem with that is staining it gets clumpy.

I have not. I have heard of that, though! Lizard litter??? lol Oh yes, the sawdust. I have tried that as well.

What kind of thread do you use for the face sculpting? Is it like upholstery thread or just regular sewing thread?
