In 2019 Ridgid added TruSense Technology options to their SeeSnake Cameras (200' mini, 200' standard & 325'). First question we got was what is TruSense so we invited Ridgid in to explain the new features. TruSense adds 2 main features to the cameras. First, HDR or High Dynamic Range which balances color much better than traditional SeeSnake cameras, this gives better details to the image and allows you to see cracks and other potential issues much better. The option can be turned on and off so if something is unclear, toggling back and forth could add some clarity.
The second feature TruSense incorporates is TiltSense which is an inclinometer in the head of the camera which will give the exact pitch of the line to the degree. If for some reason the line has a flat spot or back flow this will now be super easy to identify those issues.

Smallest pipe it can go in? Can you start at kitchen sink and head towards main?

You could shove it in a 2” pipe but it’ll be a pain in the ass, always best to use a 4” main sewer line. If you don’t have a clean outside from your home then just pull the toilet! Ive used it in a 2” vent stack but Just be careful it gets stuck. You don’t want to loose 6K dude.

It looks really rugged. Im a wastewater operator and I use one of these on a daily basis. Our camera takes a beating. I wonder how strong the seesnake really is.

Itd be nice if the camera head actually was able to turn on demand, also had an aluminum ball-like adapter at the end so it could stay odd the bottom itself

They don't "turn" but they do keep the cam centered and go around corners.
