Really nice workmanship on this project, see you did not go back to the original painting scheme of the axe. The finish overall was great, many Kudos for your skills. Thanks for sharing. 👍😁🇨🇱🇺🇸

Thank you bro for the kind words, I'm glad you like it. The original color is red, as with any fire axe. I could have returned the red but I decided without the color. I think it's better this way because there would be a lot of colors considering that the handle already has two colors.

Brilliant job 👍 a lot of hours spent polish that up I bet. That handle looks absolutely stunning and finishes the job off nicely.

Very beautiful work there FASTFIX KS. That handle turned out great! I'm not familiar with plum wood. Is it a hard wood like oak? Yes that hand sanding is a lot of work, but what result. 👍🇺🇸 Roger

Thank you so much for commenting and watching my friend. I'm glad you like it. The plum tree is hard, but not like an oak. Tables and kitchens can be made of this wood. While oak can be used to make various parquet floors, wooden stairs ... which is much more susceptible to loads.

@@GeorgeF.106 Trust me, I have thought many times to give up. That much
time, effort, sacrifice, nerves and money but the results are very small. It is possible that the videos are not interesting, that they are poorly done or that the items I am restoring are not popular. It's been over a year since I started recording for youtube and I still haven't gotten to that magic number 1000. Subscribing doesn't cost anyone anything, I don't know why it's hard for someone to hit that button. Anyone who records videos would have more energy and motivation to continue even stronger if they had some profit from youtube. Each video I shoot costs an average of $ 50 and approximately 20-60 hours of work. But I hope that the situation will improve soon.

@@fastfixks “the journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step” but the average TH-cam video is only watched for 3 to 4 seconds before they go to the next video. I can imagine it’s very tough.
