the husdband is a garbage and a coward ...he tells her not to return it because the garbage is afraid he might get killed even if is old and sick af ,,,,but accuses her of tempting the king ... a garbage geriatric that married her when she was only 20 y while he was a old creep even then , that stole her young years and raped her ... a garbage man ...
@@doctorposting she was 30 when she married Henry, and the 'still very handsom woman' comment was made before that, when she was married to lord Latimer.
I think that's because Catherine Parr was deliberately not portrayed as a late 20-something in this show. Her age isn't mentioned and the show wasn't necessarily historically accurate.
tudors is so hard to find scene packs for anyone other than anne, henry, catherine howard, or charles, thanks so much for this and i hope to see some more tudors scenepacks from ya as this is super high quality
Because he knows that the dress and fabric gifts mean only one thing, that the King has shown a romantic interest in his wife, and that she herself knows what they mean too even though she is trying to deny it.
@CaptainPikeachu I understand that part. I was referring to on his death bed he told her to go to hell. My thoughts were, did he know about her affair with Seymour?
Maybe he did since it seems she was about to tell him about it. Or perhaps he's telling her to go ahead marry the King & live the hell that all his former Queens lived eventually. Or maybe he's simply jealous he's painfully slowly dying of old age & sickness while his wife is all youthful & pretty with marriage prospects showering her before she's actually widowed. I don't know... but the way he uttered those words, he's in deep resentment, that's for sure 😅
The scene where she gets the fabric for dresses and her husband says YES YOU DO is chilling. A present has never been so menacing.

'She is still a very handsom woman', Sir, she is in her late twenties...
Back then if a woman was in her late twenties and unmarried, it was a problem lol
@IBeMelissa Katherine was at this point on her second marriage, but yeah, I get your point.
she was 30+

Catherine Parr didn't want to marry Henry VIII knowingly it's either suicide or a death sentence had she not been too careful

@@michellehairston8299😂 Yeah that’s what I’ve always thought too. I feel like he definitely knew about her affair.
