Although I know you typically react to individual songs, you are robbing yourself of an experience by not listening to the whole album from start to finish. Perfect 10/10 album exploring various genres on the way. The transitions between songs are also something to praise as well. Great video! Glad Loathe are getting the attention they so rightfully deserve!

I’m pretty sure these guys use fender baritones tuned to E standard, except a whole octave down, and they keep the bass tuned to standard bass tuning, so they are effectively in the same register. Super effective, gives you that punchy bass

They also used Gretsch baritones on this album. And they're not just baritones, they're 30 inch scale baritones as well, so they're using a Bass VI, essentially. Idk why Fender called it a baritone and came out with another 30 inch scale that was called a Bass VI at the same time basically, lol
I have the Squier VM Jazzmaster "baritone" myself, haha. I use A standard/Drop G on it for now though. Would like to get a 28 inch scale baritone and put that in the same tuning, and switch the jazzmaster to bass E/D standard

...and the albumcover you've added is from their latest instrumental album THE THINGS THEY BELIEVE, based on their 2020 record I let it in and it took everything, this awesome track is from THAT album.

This band is bringing great, diverse and fresh tones to the table! I LET IT IN AND IT TOOK EVERYTHING sounds less raw than their debut THE COLD SUN but contains equal depth.

The tone, they use baritone like fender iv.
Imo heavier than 7 or 8 strings. The thicker strings have some deep overtones

I'm Always still here...Still here buggin about some foo named Jason Richardson and his buddy Luke Holland. They did this song together that's really awesome . You might have heard of it . It called "Ho's Down" and its a killer track that I think you would really love. I know you did "Tendonitis" already so this would be a revisited band/group/couple/dudes.. The Video is a must, even if you don't show it to us.. Awwwright!!! Oh, And LOATHE is Awesome!! Another great band that I wouldn't have found if it not for this channel . Thanks for the gathering spot Geebz! Catch ya on the next hang out!!

@@KeyOfGeebz I Been here since .. maybe day one of your channel... at least the first week or so. I've tried to comment on every video since then. I did see the Tendonitis reaction. You loved them. Thank you for you time in replying to me again. I changed my profile pic recently from the Trump related one... but I know, you know who I am...in the chat. I understand how slammed you are with requests from all directions and as I mentioned in the past.. Yes , I would like you to react to my request, but I also understand ... and it helps your Al Gore Rhythm either way!! Awwwright!!

Awesome video today! Sorry to hear about your shoulder, I hope everything ends up well. These guys aren't related to Loathe, but I was thinking since just before this I rewatched your Mr. Bungle reactions, that you should listen to some Estradasphere! My favorite song of theirs is The Dapper Bandits, but all of their songs are amazing.

They use baritone scale Fenders. To me it makes them look like Weezer until they start playing. Makes me smile.

May I selfishly request a breakdown of "Aphex Twin - Girl,Boy Song", only if your coming round to some more electronic stuff again... This always blows my mind but maybe its just a residual from my slightly enhanced experience on first listen.

I'd love to see reaction channels do more Aphex, Flashbulb, Squarepusher, Venetian Snares, etc etc. I think they'd dig some of it.

I believe the main vocalist in this song uses a fender jazzmaster baritone guitar, I have to think that's where a lot of that low end is coming from.
