Guys like him are a dying breed. As a pipe welder, a lot of trades are dying out. Nobody wants to work hard anymore. RIP Fred and all those old tradesmen that have gone on to “Workshed in the sky”.
I started watching these videos about Fred , and I said to myself, I am not going to watch all of these videos about Fred and his steamroller, well two weeks later and I am almost through with everything filmed about him, Yup, Fred hooked me in, I couldn't stop watching them.
What an absolute legend , i met him once at Carrington rally in 1996 and i got his autograph, its a treasured memory 👍

Interesting how back then he lamented the decline in ethic and enthusiasm of British society, and now 40 years later we take a similar view of him.
