    What a great little project. It’s fun to take one board and see what you can do with it.

    What a neat side table! It looks great and i was impressed with it only requiring 1 board. Thanks for sharing this.

    That's a great way to use up the one board you had! I love how it turned out and it will be very functional to use in so many places. I think it would also be nice made of cedar to put by your outdoor furniture. Thanks for another super fun project!

    • @WoodshopDiaries

    What a sleek little design! It's amazing what a little creativity can do for just one board. I love the subtle angles and the use of different colors. I'm a big fan of pre-stain... it covers my lack of skill in applying even stain coats very nicely, thank you. And for the skeptics out there, yes, Shara is absolutely capable of building a piece of elegant furniture without a single pocket hole! 😁

    Ah so cute!!!! This is the perfect gift for my friend who practically lives in a greenhouse! 😂🪴🪴 What’s also great is that - if used as a side table - it has that little open space, so you can pull it toward you and use as an eating tray while seated! Brilliant design again, as always 👏👏👏

    neat project. I always like the project where you can build something out of 1 or 2 boards. Jig saws can be frustrated when cutting curves. I figured you that if you overturn the saw as you are cutting, it is much easier to follow the line and the blade stays vertical better. If that make sense.

    • @WoodshopDiaries
      @WoodshopDiaries  ปีที่แล้ว

      I love one board projects too! I always like to think through the possibilities and figure out how to make it work haha. I find a belt sander after the jig saw covers a multitude of sins 🤣

  • @nobuckle40
    @nobuckle40 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Very thrifty! This would be a cool CNC project when yours arrives. You could batch them out from a 4x8 sheet of plywood.

    One board, one love! Great video, I went out and bought some wood to give this a try. Quick question: You mentioned in the video that some of the cuts were bevels and some were miters but when I followed the link here to the cut list I didn't see any bevel cuts, only miters. Am I missing something? Thanks!

    • @WoodshopDiaries
      @WoodshopDiaries  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! No you’re not missing anything. In the plans on my website I decided to make this MUCH easier by doing without the beveled cuts. The 10 degree bevel made practically no difference in the overall look and use of the table, but it made things WAY easier to leave them out. So all cuts are mitered (no bevels) and the two pieces of the table base assemble at a 90 degree angle. Sorry for the confusion. I made the decision to change the plans after I already edited the video and couldn’t change the video after it was approved by the brand.
