May Allah preserve Shaykh Abu Usamah. I was with him on Hajj this year and I make Dua to Allah that he rewards him abundantly for making my Hajj a journey of a lifetime!

I was concerned for the sheikh but I was also smiling at how he described his walking experience and hugging the guy. This is something we never hear especially being that sheikh Abu Usamah is fit. The speech from the sheikh was an eye opener it really teaches you to prepare for hajj all we see is beautiful clips of hajj. May Allah make it possible for all of us who are yearning to perform hajj.

I read something deep the other day brother ima just post it here cuase people need to understand this. The dangers of negative assumptions of your brothers and sisters will cost you your iman and poison you in the long run. Hopefully that brother who made that post can read this and reflect 🙂
If you're going to make assumptions about people, make good assumptions. Look, assumptions are just stories in your mind that you write (and you could write 100s of different stories), so why not write a nice story about others in your mind? Why insist on just one negative assumption story?
If you think bad of people, they don't know what's in your head -- so you're only hurting yourself. Mean assumptions are just a poison that you drink yourself. So think good of people.

Very poor service provided by guides & marketing agents that the Sheikh was with!
They did not fulfil the trusts in terms of the rights of the pilgrims that they were responsible for on multiple occasions & additionally they did not offer any apologies for multiple failings due to avoidable negligence & poor organisation.
The Shaikh covered up for the group leaders faults every time & blamed pilgrims instead who had genuine grievances about poor service standards😩😱

They were given opportunities on multiple occasions to address issues & grievances but failed to do so.
They then give sermons in public about the rewards of service to others during Hajj having not demonstrated what they preach🤔
Pilgrims were let down badly and the guides showed loyalty to their management & paymasters and not to the people they were accountable for. I have only raised this matter in public to warn others and to point out how recollections vary & differ depending upon who you show misplaced loyalty towards🤔

Please hear me out, good works could never save men or persuade Adonai. Our works could never cover our sins. As the prophet Isaiah said "our good works are like filthy rags". It might sound strange at first, but please listen 🙏🏼🙏🏽 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39
For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
What we must do is turn from our sinful ways (repent) and put your faith and trust in the saviour Lord Jesus 🙌🏽🙌🏼
John 8:58 “Jesus answered them: 'I solemnly declare it: before Abraham came to be, I AM.” [This was the name God gave himself when he first communicated with Moses, Exodus 3:14 “God replied, 'I am who I am. ' Then he added, 'This is what you shall tell the Israelites: I AM sent me to you. '”]
The Old Testament brings the foreshadowing of the Messiah Jesus Christ 🙌🏽🙌🏼
    Psalm 22
    Psalm 22:1 (Mark 15:33-34)
    Isaiah 52:13-14
    Isaiah 53
Matthew 12:38-42 (Jesus refers to Jonah in the Old Testament)
Genesis 22. If you read it you can see the foreshadowing of Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Genesis 22:2)
Also, the ram God provided to Abraham to be sacrificed, after Abraham's faith was confirmed, represented the sacrificial death Jesus Christ was which God offered to the world, to free us from the penalty of sin, the power of sin, and the very presence of sin & to allow us to be made right with God. Because God is Holy & we are not because of sin, and God cannot be around sin. But through the ultimate sacrifice for sin in the form of the Son of God Jesus Christ the Messiah, we now can stand right before God and be with Him, because the penalty for our sins were paid in full. It is now our jobs to turn from our sins (repent) and to put our faith in Jesus Christ, for it is alone by the grace of God, through faith in the Son and what He has done that you are saved; it is the gift of God; not of our good works so that no one may boast.
    Refer to (Ephesians 2:8-9)
