I love this song, my wife passed away 5 years ago from cancer, it has been a hard road, but the beautiful memories are the best and what remains in the heart.

All the songs sound the same, don't really innovate in the genre they play in. Suppose you could say they are a metaphor for what records labels are "Hey you had this one hit? I'm 15 years old, my dad introduced me to Nickelback, he played me their songs when I was little around 10 years old and I've been listening to Nickelback for over five years now and I can't say enough about it, those guys are great🤍🤘🏻🎸

I'm almost 50 now, and I can testify this is one of those timeless songs. I encourage you to go farther back. There are many timeless classics dating back to even before I was born. There are many great songs throughout the decades that can speak to every generation. I even find myself enjoying some of the new material that comes out.

Believe me when I say it is a good investment in time and effort to contact those people in the past, even those you felt were not your close friends because those memories becomes more valuable as the decades go by.

I took my boyfriend to see Nickelback in Wheatland, Ca. I bought the tickets and the seats was a lot of walking distance and they ended up giving us seats that were a lot closer than what I had paid for and it was a great concert! I would go back to see them again!

Damn, i listen to this song every once in a while and it brings back such beautiful memories of when i was younger.
Today, i was walking with my 3 good old friends by the neighborhood we used to live. Things changed a lot, some people moved, other died and the house where i lived was demolished. That tree house we built in my backyard, games we used to play and stuff, hanging out at night 'till very late.
Nostalgia kicks hard everytime i go to that place. We had such a great time, i will never forget.
For those wondering, hating Nickelback IS the joke. They just hate Nickelback because it's Nickelback. Theres no reasoning it's just an internet joke and essentially it could almost be considered a meme. Even though a person can say they hate Nickelback, a lot of the time they don't actually mean it. :)
To be fair, they're not particularly talented musicians, and Chad Kroger is an absolute douche. I think the latter has a LOT to do with the meme.
Also, his voice just bothers me. But I could think of a lot of bands that are worse than Nickelback.
So, if Chad Kroger came up to you, shoved a picture in your face and screamed "LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH!," you wouldn't be a little annoyed? He's fucking screaming (because that's pretty much all he's vocally capable of) about something that is supposed to be tender and thought provoking. The sentiment and the delivery are total polar opposites. Plus... the lyrics are inane and the song progression is sophomoric, to say the least.

I'm a huge Nickelback fan also, and i read something a little while ago addressing the hate for them, it was something to do with how they are too 'generic' and they don't produce anything 'outside of the ordinary' instead they just consistently produce the same stuff, which is bullshit because they have a variety of different types of songs, either way, the hate is not justified, and sure every artist/group has its haters, but a lot of Nickelback hate is a bandwagon that people join because they are brainwashed by idiots on the internet.

There's just something about your hometown you never forget. When I think of my hometown as a kid i get this really calming feeling and just pure enjoyment feeling. I'm 27 years old and that may not be old to some people, but in the last 4 years I've lost a lot of my family that still lived in my hometown, and now that I'm back here living it's just so much different.
