That rod is close to 10 years old, no longer available. You will be looking around the $400 mark to get a reasonable entry level softbait combo, ideally a 7ft rod rated 6-10kg and try to find something with a shorter but, long bits are a pain on the kayak.

I fish light drags, just enough to hook the fish.
The risk of breaking a rod or damaging a rod holder would be very low 👍
