- Time to check and see how the hives are doing after the 1st Formic Acid treatment was applied! Are we all queen-right? Do we have brood (baby bees)? So far it looks like the 1st treatment was effective. Now for the 2nd!

Yet another great video
Love seeing young beekeepers. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with him. I hope your bees do okay with this treatment. I had a few friends to loose there queens with formic pro.
Good video and that bottom board is very neat.
When you put the patty in, it should not be angled, it should be perpendicular to your frames to get best coverage. Probably doesn't make a huge difference but it was in the manufactures instructions.
Thanks for the tip!
I'm a new bee keeper and have like a 1000 questions lol
You're welcome to ask! I had to take a year off from producing content but I hope to get restarted soon. We can learn together. 👍
@@honeybeebuzz795 ok thank you very much
At 6 minutes that was a wax moth larva. SHB larva are much smaller.
Thanks! I'll go double check. I sometimes have a hard time telling the difference. Need to study them more!
OMG thats a lot of mites, yikes!!!
