I love your backgrounds and could watch you make them all day long! One day I'd love to see the clock that's ticking in your studio! I'm just waiting on my delivery of Infusions and Rust Powder to give it all a try!
Well Mags, you’re really something!❤ l love your videos and techniques, I will definitely try the baby wipes, who knew but you did. Thank you so much for making and sharing techniques. Hey from the USA.
Another great spread, and video Mags 😃 thank you for sharing it, love the colours too. Quick question.. do you think just mixing some Paperartsy rust powder with some vinegar and water would make some liquid like yours from the rusting process? Or should I drop in some bits of metal too? Thanks in advance ☺️
Thank you. I am experimenting at the moment with the rusting powder and vinegar to create the rust liquid, I'll let you know how it goes. At the moment it's not getting the gorgeous rust colour I want. I think I need to mix it in a wide shallow tray to get more air to the mix. Definitively a WIP.
@@janedevonshire1296 I had more success last night . I sprinkled the rusting powder in an A4 plastic tray with sides, added a bit of cider vinegar and swirled it about. I got some lovely rust when i came back this morning. I used a stiff brush to dislodge the rust and added water to dilute a little. It only produced a small amount but Enough for maybe one project. It's a start !
@@magswoodcock Ooooo interesting 🤔 thanks for letting me know. Do you use cider vinegar because its not as pungent? Also, I have a couple of used sparklers from guy fawkes night, I was thinking about dropping them in some vinegar, they might work, don't you think? 😀
@@janedevonshire1296 Yes,I find the cider vinegar a little less pungent. As for the sparklers, Just be carefull ! It might be ok , but you may get a random chemical reaction that gives off bad fumes. If you do try it, I suggest doing it outside just in case. Have fun and take care 😀
I just love listening to your voice, it’s so soothing. I was glad to find out that was kept rust water - I’d do the same thing❗️. Love the page🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Aww thank you, Glad you like the page. I'm so pleased to know I'm not on my own with the rusty water lol.
This is great fun watching you create and totally love your piece of finished art with all that you ended up using 💖 thanks Mags, love it ❣️
