I'm new to the whole Ninja thing, but I've heard Awakening is already in a slightly worse place than Succession. I don't get why they'd nerf anything about it? Unless it was somehow overpowering in PvP?

In PVP it wasn't worse than succsession. However in PVE it is really awfull.

MI was 3 sec with a linger, and ghost step was 1 sec... So you could just weave in some random bullshit and permanently rotate a protected movement stiff 🤡

@ROACH123_ yo. I was gonna say the same thing. I don't even use the bon for it. I'm usually weaving in other skills anyway. The overall movement combo that we've been using for years will be very clunky though.

Tbh. The 6sec on MI isn't the worst thing. Hopefully they change it back and remove the stiff or the bon.
For someone who mainly plays pvp content like me. I'd prefer to keep this MI rather than get new skill. It's a main movement & engage skill for awk this nerf really cut its leg off

@kronvongora yeah I agree. I tried to imitate the 6sec cd and the best thing to do is linger the SA on shadow slash. I agree 100%. It's not viable in a meta where you get blown up in a SA or grabbed. Movement is definitely more important on ninja.

ninja nerfs absolutely gutted , cant cancel out of ChaoSpree using this is mostly a death sentence, 6 sec cd on core movement skill is too much thats a 100% increase! , why not go to 4 seconds first and see how people feel
lol pa did a wrong decision, they just free ninja player soul from that shit class. Any avg level ninja players will abuse on other op classes now and easily get top skill level on that class. This is really killing the pvp environment.

He wasn't good even before. They announced buffs for him and yeah they made some small buffs here and there but nerf to that skill is kinda class killer
Succ is still the same, MI to 6 heavily impacts his general combo mobility and the Chaospree changes don't really affect much as the skill isn't the forefront of his kit. He'll still be good at was he does, but this is defo a nerf to Awakening.

I'd recommend succ even before the nerf. MI nerf is really huge impact on the gameplay. It's main movement & engage skill for awk. If they just remove stiff or SA maybe we still be able to talk.

PA wants to nerf ninja 1v1 but buff gvg. They want to make the class easier to play. The intention is good. But, there are plenty of classes out their which are muuuuuch easier to play and perform far better than ninja, then why should people choose this class whose output performance is disproportional to input? Why shouldnt we just choose a brainless class that can randomly spam AOE with crazy damage?
Which classes are you talking about in terms of performing much better in 1v1 than Ninja with less effort? I am curious and that is why I'm asking. Thank you for the response!
@@AntaresBDO All the FEMALE classes that can brainlessly spam random AOE with crazy damage. These FEMALE classes typically need no CC to combo, and all they do is to spam AOE to death. They need less effort but perform better than classes whose skills not only does not have accuracy, but also very small range. This game, with endless, continuous new FEMALE classes, have turned into a game of RANDOM AOE DESERT. Who the hack needs CC to combo? Those classes need cc to combo to people, are typically MALE GARBAGES classes that nobody cares.
