It's interesting watching a bunch of videos back-to-back. It seems like the Stealth2s are a bit squirrely, and produce a lot more variation in shot shape, wider dispersion etc. They may be more forgiving than last year's Stealth, but these do not appear to be forgiving at all. Different strike locations produce such different results.
@@j10browngmail the lack of spin on the 2nd and 3rd shot is what made the ball curve more even though the face and path were in a similar position. you need enough spin to keep the ball in the air, lack of spin causes it to dive out of the air and the curve to be quite a bit more aggressive
Really interesting watching Matts reaction to these Drivers. He can visualize the tweaks he wants to make with the Callaway, Ping and Cobra back in the TXG fitting bay to make them play. There wasn't that dialog here with the TM, very telling.
I'm a pro taylormade guy, own a stealth myself. However, the consistency of spin across the face was non-existent, like one 5 mm low was 3100 and 5 mm high was 1900. He was breaching ball speed consistency, but it they're spinning 1000 rpm apart that doesn't really matter.

Every stealth that we had in our group of golf buddies had the face fall off last year. TM said the new ones would be fixed. I didn’t hear what the fix was in this video?

The carbon face is glued to a Titanium frame and that will cause issues until thats not the case. The best epoxy in the world wont hold up to a welded titanium face. Im sure Taylormade are working their hardest to have a completely compossit head, apart from the weights. But carbon , from what i understand is quite brittle and hence the crown and face cant all be one piece. I read a lot of comments on reviews that say, if you repeatedly het into the high 170's for ball speed, then the face will break, its a case of if not when. Kokrak and DJ played the original plus and both have cracked the face. If TM backed this with a 3 year warranty rather than 1, id get one. But i wouldn't go near the 2nd hand market for these.
