Hi m8 the dtre was 2004 to 20007 if your 1999 has had all dtre bits put on included the loom and clock yeah it will have the wire u have to earth out,1999 have a reed switch in the clocks as a restictor
@@2strokemxclassics In the dtre registration says its 1999 and it revs up to 9000-9500rpm while driving while in the neutral it revs to 10000-10500rpm is that restricted? Thanks
It will be a dtr m8 look behind the rev counter u will see something like a fuse take it out and tape it away from rev counter,theres vids on here or google just type dtr 125 reed switch

hello m8 does my dt125re 1999 have restrict i got full athena and 57mm piston do i have the black n green wire under the speedo

It has a speedo and a rpm clock.
