@@miisu, and it doesn't change the fact that Lemmy's talent was not appreciated. I have no doubt that if their management truly believed in the band and put in as much effort as Peter Grant did with Led Zeppelin - Motörhead would be known to a lot more people in the world.
The same touches such an amazing bands like UFO, Uriah Heep and Nazareth. The relative obscurity of these groups in North America is due in no small part namely to the failure of their managers, because these musicians created a wonderful music.
I played keyboards onstage with Motörhead on this tour. And YES they had a keyboard player onstage! ME! (i was also Philthy's Drum Tech) Thats me at min 3:35, min 4:35 (twice) one finger! this was shot for ABC TV "In Concert" on the "Operation Rock And Roll" Tour supporting Alice Cooper and Judas Priest (Painkiller Tour) at the venue "Irvine Maedows" near Anaheim CA. For my money, its a great record (1916) and for me the greatest lineup. Wurzel and Phil twin attack...what a privilege to share the stage w/ these guys... more than 30 shows. and 3 world tours as Tech. Salad days!

From his unusual use of his bass , to his always looking up to the mic , topped off by his one of a kind signature vocals Ian was truly a treasure in so many ways. I bought " no sleep till Hamm " in 1980 or 81 and cruised his voice up and down commerce Ave. In Longview , wa. One of a kind and sorely missed he is bloke. Long live Lemmy 🎆🎇🍄🌋
