I have the exact same chronograph, yes it does infact have a fps mode! When you turn it on wait until it says PS Then push the button once quickly it then will show fps you must do this every time you start it up.

I compared readings alongside another more expensive unit at the club and there was a difference in the readings but nothing drastic. Its consistent in its measuring so , yes Im pleased with it. Perhaps should calibrate it with one or two more and get an average to work on but TBH for my needs it telling me if Im losing or gaining power and if Im close to the limit or not.
Bought a second hand tx200 ,after 5 years I noticed a drop in power so got it tested, it was shooting 13 ft lb, guy I bought it off had fitted a spring kit from Europe and didn't tell me.
@@paperballandpentube I shoot in my basement all the time... but they are fairly quiet... my wife still knows when I'm shooting... I use a ProChrono DLX and love it... the smart phone app announces the shot speed... female voice... nothing sexy just numbers though !
No they work great in the dark. I just got one and tested it. Only a flashlight in a complete dark room and it wasn't even pointed at the chrono. Reads perfectly.
Hi there watched your TH-cam video couple of days ago,I have the same Connorgraph. after you have switched it on and it's cycles through the numbers you should see PS. hold down button count of 3 it will put it in FPS.i hope you read this and find it helpful.
@@paperballandpentube I understand it has a usb connector .However, I need to know which device is required to charge the internal battery. My phone charger has a usb outlet but has an output of 5v approx. I really need to know if this is compatible with the chronograph internal battery.
@@paperballandpentube Thanks for that . I wasn't quite sure if there was an issue with the phone usb charger having a nominal output of 5v while the internal battery is apparently 3.7v. Cheers.
You can access it by taking the top off but it doesn't look like it's meant to be replaced, no. Still seems to charge ok via the USB cable though after quite a bit of use. Cheers.

@@saadmagnum936 Yeah, I just flipped it off with one finger nail, it reveals the circuit board with battery attached. Didn't want to start messing with connections though.
Hi, good news is that looks like its not broken, from reading my dodgey translation of the manual it appears you have it set to energy test rather than speed test. I think it tells you to long press the function key to choose test type, hope this will cycle through them. Hope this helps.

I did find it is a lil tricky at 1st you have to just tap the button quickly when it shows ps it then says "fps" but as stated have to do this every time you turn it on. I'd check the description of the seller you bought it from and see if it indicates fps ability. I bought mine on ebay $35 and it does state fps capable.
Search for "Chargeable Ballistic Chronograph Premium Precision Bullet Shooting Velocity UK" on ebay and you should get a bunch of similar results. Cheers.

The beauty of living in Quebec is that we cook with grams but weight in pounds, work with feets but the blueprints are metric, drive in kilometer but boast about speed in miles, buy liters of gaz and gallons of fuel... I could go on and on but lets say a little conversion here and there isn't realy problematic 😉

When it displays SU, you should enter the pellet weight in Grams not Grains as per instructions or you will not get the correct MS reading.
My instructions say, "if only measure the velocity, it is not required to set the gram weight of the projectile"

Your nitro piston BB will show more power with lighter pellets. PCP rifles show more power with heavier pellets.

Works most of the time. But sometimes it shows a decimal place, eg. 32.2. What does that mean?
I read the advert for this and it states up to 10g pellets so your heavy pellets would Read false

Sorry mate, no idea. As a cheap Chinese machine I doubt you can to be honest.
I got around 160 fps with an hatsan 70 4.5mm and that sounds way to slow to be around 10 joule.
Could be set to Meters per sec.

Reads perfectly.
The instructions state NOT TO USE IN DIRECT LIGHT! It'll throw off the reading so these are much different that's why it works great in the dark.

Yes, if no silencer on, use the barrel clamp supplied and you are good to go. Do not recommend pointed free.

How do you calculate the FPS.
My rifle is shooting over 200 and the highest number was 240.
Multiply by 3.28084 to obtain FPS (feet per second).
All you have to do is turn it on when it shows PS push the button quickly and it'll show FPS, you must do this everytime you start it up.
