Yes, I love my entire line of Fishing Syndicate rods. They know how to build quality. It's an 8' MH 10-20# Bay and Lake Series.
      Thank you 🤙👊

Hey, appreciate the kind words. Thank you. I'm really new to this edit stuff but I'm starting to get the hang of it.
The rod was a Phenix Maxim. Part of their budget friendly line. Great rod but I needed something with the same sensitivity with more durability. That's why I recently upgraded it for another Fishing Syndicate. Highly recommend them and you can visit their store front in La Habra, CA. Go in there and pull on some rods! Let them know I sent you 🤙

🤦‍♂Who reels against an outgoing drag?!?!? 3:36-3:56 SMH, you either let it run or tighten your drag.

Whoooooooa. Don't slap yourself in the face dude. Everythings alllll goooood lol!! Welcome to my channel. Appreciate any and all comments. Yes, I probably could've tightened it a few more clicks over. Wasn't planning to really pick it up my 4# setup but I also wanted to break it in. Few more clicks over or not. Wouldn't have mattered on such a small fish. Bigger model and I probably would have adjusted a bit but nothing dramatic. That's pretty much all the heat you'd generally want to put on a 500 size reel with 4# test. You need to compensate a hookset for a possible oversized fish for that light of a setup. Set it to tight and you'll snap off so fast. You don't want to do that ,(pro tip). Yes, it sounds loser than it really is but facts are I'm reeling down on the fish faster than that pancake/s can pull drag. That's what you do on low gear whether you gain or not. Kinda the same concept. It's just to keep pressure. Plain and simple.
If you're referring to the first pancake halibut. I clearly thought I had moss/grass LMFAO. Was trying to burn it in until what I thought was moss started to sink to the bottom 🤣. Lighten up like my drag dude. Fishing is fun. Thanks for tuning in. Look forward to the next one 😁
