That's the traction management system in the ECU. In race cars, they hook up a signal to the tail lights or to a light at the rear of the car that turns on when the traction management is engaging mid-pass, so that the tuner can visually observe where the car is losing traction, how bad(duration of the light), and how often(frequency of the light turning on). You'll see this on everything from small tire/radial cars to Pro Mods.
@@RyTrapp0 didn't know that but losing traction end of the track pay attention at his area when it lights up it's really really deep in there he going 180-190+ at the point it happens it's like literally right at then end an even the car dips down a bit if you watch it. But that's pretty cool too what you said wasn't aware of that
@RyTrapp0 A car on this level isnt spinning the tires at 1000 ft. The brake lights arent flashing for the tuner when traction control engagement occurs. Thats what wheel speed sensors and data logs are for. This is either the driver hitting the brakes or some nth moto trickery.

My childhood dream car is the Viper. It'll always have a special place in my heart. I even managed to find the toy car of the Viper I had when I was a kid at my parents house a few years back when I was helping clean the house; going through old boxes, etc. Got it back in the mid 90's. Now it sits on my shelf in the front room with my other collections of things.
This is one of the most frustrating things about these videos. A professional racer who says teen means exactly this: between 7:13-7.19. However these weekend racers are always flubbing the terminology. Personally I do believe the driver was referencing a 7.17 pass Clearly you three aren’t around real racers often. After running in the teens all weekend it’s glaringly obvious the driver was referencing a .17

Back in 1994 there was a show on Tv called Viper and it featured the car in it I was 14 at the time and I thought it was the coolest car ever built. Since then I’ve loved the Viper and this car is totally badass, build quality is incredible and the fact that it can go back to back to back in the teens is wild. Great car.

Roots or twin screw is 2003-2004. Cobra geometry. Beyond outdated ...It's 2020 now every car is making a thousand plus horse. My favorite notchback is my 632 with 3 nitrous kits.. my dart block stoker turbo notch is a bad ass street car. Also I have a 331 stock block nitrous street car .. foxbody for life. Notchback is the best way to go
