Excellent recording of this great line in outstanding weather it really exemplifies the beauty of the North Pennines. It’s a shame that the line will probably never reach Haltwhistle.
@@TheTouristLine Yes being a single track structure you would have excellent views down to the South Tyne on both sides. We live in hope but the cost of replacing missing infrastructure would be phenomenal not least the A69 Haltwhistle bypass which has breached the trackbed. Add to this that Lambley Station in it’s entirety including the trackbed is now privately owned.

I am impressed by British ultra-modern, high-speed rail; it is exactly as I had imagined it.
