Great video. I have the same float. My Guardian is over 10 years old now, still going strong, built like a tank! I am refurbishing it, adding new straps etc. The center section is always flooded with water so I will be adding some foam in there to increase buoyancy. I have bought an electric motor and battery for it (designed for SUPs). I have fitted a part wooden floor to it, to help secure the fin box for the motor and to add rigidity. I hopefully will be in the water next week for the first sea trials. I wondered what the valve-looking object is at 3:58 on the inner right-hand side by the inflatable belly pad? I am not sure if there is more than one version of the Guardian - mine has two internal removable air bladders, one for each side, with a carbon fibre vertical flag pole - there is no valve-looking widget on the inner righthand side.
Yeah, it happens quite often! That one had a white mark on its head so the spear must have hit him and bounced off, probably gave him a bit of a headache. Yeah it could have passed for a mini halibut, it was huge.
Some lovely waters in Jersey. My mother lives just off Green Island, I visit every now and again from Wales. I'll bring my gear next time maybe we can hook up? :)
Nice Video and great diving, the shots on the fish were very cool! Looked like a great day out, Hello from Aussie, Dive Safe!

Great video buddy... that sole 👌🏼 I took your advice this year and went for a big float, such a great upgrade
Good one Nick! Don’t you just love it when you miss a fish and they come back and stare at you?! Nice halibut there at the end!

Sounds good!
hi, is your buoy with some motor and propeller or you just use your legs ?
Just my legs with fins, but you can go a lot further and faster when you get your body out of the water on the float.
