Long live the blues.
Nothing says the blues more than "dust my broom" regardless of the lyrics. All true blues lovers know this classic. Never gets old.
Elmore James says hello
and said..those are my "Dust my broom" riffs you have there..
Yes sir. The original always gets his due. Thank you.
@@RickMcCargar Actually Robert Johnson riffs...and this is also an Elmore James song Talk to Me Baby!

You can't beat The Blues!
If you can catch Jack live it'll be the best night out you've had in years.
In my mind hes up there with the very best,
Theres very few better.
Totally Agree
reminds me of Jimmy Vaughn!
One of my very most favourite Canadian bluesmen, ever!
Peace, Jack!
(from Rowan and Kim in BC’s beautiful Okanagan Valley!)
Just back from Kelowna, BC and the good times there!🍷🕺😎
Need a whole lot more of this ❗️🇺🇸
Hit the join button and you can watch the FULL concert!
Would love to join him on Harmonica. I've been blowing harp 60 years, oh yeah da blues.

Real blues. Thank you so much
Now that's what I call playing the Blues! BRAVO! 👍👍🎸🎸🎤🎤
the world just needs this! wow !!!!!!!!
Great tight band...this IS the blues as it was and should remain....excellent
This guy is from another planet !!!!!! haaaaaaarrrrghhhhh love it !!!!!!!
How can all these folks remain sitted ?
His slide playing reminds me of the late, great Hound Dog Taylor!
😂
Or Peter Green on vintage years
Jeremy Spencer of Green's Mac @@harryfarber6435
Actually , this is an ELMORE JAMES MUSICAL NUMBER ( Dust My Broom ) they just used different lyrics
The song is Talk to Me Baby, by Elmore James.
Yep this is a Elmore James song done just like he performed it and his lyrics. He used his signature lick on many of his songs. Dust my broom is originally a Robert Johnson song
@@ellisduncan7641I was about to say the same thing. Glad I read your post.
Used to play this 4 nights a week with Doc Blues Band in OKC. This song is why I bought my first slide
Classic blues
This is a consummate pro on that Strat, the band is super solid! Yes, this IS the Blues!
Jack’s the King!
Truly another Canadian treasure. 🎶🎸
Brilliant, real 😊music
Brilliant, great vocalist as well 🎸👌
The blues is life men.....
Been Playin' this stuff for decades and its just not enough.....Will play it every time!!
Love listening to Jack. His bands are always great. Missing his sax player at this concert. Come on back to Peterborough!
Damn!!! I used to watch Jack at Grossman's Tavern, Toronto's home of the blues like 25 years ago. Wow, thanks algo.
I remember the El Mocambo on Yonge St. in T-O !!!
@@rjwintl Yeah, but Grossman's on Spadina was a whole other level of intimacy, seating for like 40 people maybe 50, everyone knew each other, open mike nights with Mike McDonald, a young (Like 19 year old) Philip Sayce ripping out SRV with his volume too loud.... smoking joints when it wasn't legal and pounding the pitchers.... A different level of entertainment. I love the El Mocambo, but Grossman's was the best... And of course Jack was also a fixture. And the worst pool table in TO.
You are totally amazing. Keep up the good fight keep pounding the pavement. You are one hard-working musician! Keep on keeping on.
Jack is a legend been around for over 40 years first in a Rockabilly band in the 80's. He can play.
just sweet ass music!
This is the Blues is a huge understatement!!!!! Jack and his band sound every bit as good and Bluesy as the best Blues Bands I've heard. I'm in the heart of Bluesville in Chicago. Yeah, this is awesome. Sub'd and thank you. Life long Blues player and fan here
Love the vocals....good tone and technique
Oh yes these guys have the magic sauce in spades! Wonderful!

Hey Jack
Great to see you're still playing killer blues on the old strat. I have very fond memories of lots of shows in the Shwa back in the day. Do you still play that amazing song called Apache ? That was always one of my requests at your shows. Cheers brother and all the best!! Les
Could listen to that a long time!
Check out Blues jam at Chess(Chicago) 👍
Great blues with a big tone

Fabulous.
From somewhere down in the gut bucket. Raw and edgy. YES!!

The drummer catches him unaware a bit at the start! lol Great music!
Wow! Great music!
Thanks For Making Us Smile!
WoW. Love It! Thanks
I mistook him for Dave Hole at first. He totally mirrors his style. And it's real cool.
He's got it
Fantastic

Because everyday I have the Blues yeah
If you like this. Do yourself a big favoritt and listen tothe Fleetwood Mac version. Dirty, Dirty good!
Blues jam at chess (Chicago) 1968
Saw him many times is Toronto...he sounds exactly the same...even better....incredible Bluesman...Canadian Boy !!( almost)...makes us all soo proud.
Right on the money guys......
Sounds great. 👍👍👍
Love hearing quality interpretations of the classics. Nice.
Top Quality!!!
Awesome can't wait to hear you live again. You have your own sound we love.
Sounds great ..
Natural... Feels good
It's very close to the same slide, chord pattern and melody to "Dust My Broom". Give a listen to Robert Johnson, Elmore James and Johnny Winter's rendition is unbelievable.
THIS GUYS PERTTY GOOD KIDS
A JACK of the BLUZTRADE ? ..
an english saying ( A jack of all trades ) .
Thats why you have to look out when you are out an about. Grandad going to do the shopping is a Blues Killer.
it’s a COVER….
the fact this has so many views
and positive comments shows
how little people really know
about the blues
Nice.
Nice vocals
Love the guitar, humbucker and control knobs, awesome

Wow!...Well at least I know that The Blues are alive and well in Canada!...I hear a lot of Hound Dog Taylor and Elmore James in him.
I remember this song from the Blues Jam In Chicago album back when Fleetwood Mac was still a blues band (before the change...w/ Stevie Nicks). Jeremy Spencer handeling the slide work.
@barryfohn4385, Yeah, it sounds like Peter Green on vintage years, the whole album
Sounds very good to me
I learn something every day.
YES!
Excellent blues band ❤
Nice strat
Tele’s are cooler 😎
I agree🤠
love it! the blues is the only real music and from a TO boy

Elmo James is my take on this.

Absolutely awesome .. This is The best blues music that my wife and I have heard for a very long time....👍👍😎😎👌👌
I’m still waiting for the blue light to go on.
Klasse dit.
Wicked!!!
Go back and listen to Peter greens Fleetwood Mac! Or anything by slum harpo. Or earl hooker. Nothing but the good stuff!
That's Tommy Shannon on bass. He was Stevie Ray Vaughns bass player at the height.
that's some toe tappin' music right there!
Sublime!
well done, boys!
OK so a play on lyrics. This was/is and forever will be Elmore James's ' Dust My Broom' .In my humble opinion, the best version, with the original lyrics, is by ZZ TOP on their album 'Deguello'
Odlično ❤
Nice pocket by the drummer.
YEAH!
Jack is my hometown guitar hero. Greetings from "the Hammer"
A variant of Elmore James, Dust My Broom lick. Good stuff
🇨🇦
keepin that chit alive
Actually Robert Johnson riffs...and this is also an Elmore James song Talk to Me Baby!
That was awesome.
