You're correct. He stomped that clutch and threw those long gears like a pro! Most only dream of having that Roadrunner.Only guy that throws gears like that is Bruno Beltrame in his 64 Plymouth Fury w/426 max wedge.I could watch this guy and Bruno's Plymouths all day.
Wow... man, I love those 383 mopars. May I make a suggestion? Get rid of that crappy line-loc button and change it over to a toggle switch mounted in the dashboard. Then you won't have to worry about your finger slipping off of that line-loc. I've always hated those buttons.
b conover there is no power shifting a pistol grip. Even speed shifting is hard. Look how long the throws between the gears are. Cool concept shifter but fucking worthless.
I think that long throwed pistol grip he's fondling might be an add in. I could be wrong but I'm thinking those didn't come out until 1970. Regardless, I don't seem to recall there ever being a problem power shifting the pistol grip in my old Super Bee. Of course that was forty-three or forty-four years ago lol. Those were the days indeed.
Ramjet74 buddy of mine had one of these about 20 years ago. It just did not like power shifting. Lots of gear grinding. Then again I'm a Muncie lover. To each their own. 👍
Bought my 68' RR in 68' (yeah, I'm that F****ng old) and put in a 2800 Lb. clutch and Hurst shifter and it made Bang Shifting a lot easier. When the Glovebox would pop open grabbing 2nd gear, you knew you were hooking-up. Tore the stock shit up the first month.......LOL
Proof that Mopar rules the World. I'm glad you are rocking the RR in Italia!
Beep beep!
4 years late but I have to say this was awesome! Great job driving! BTW bad ass car!
I love watching this video. This man can drive...
I grew up on mopar 4spd's in the 70's and never a chance to run one down the 1/4 mile but i enjoy watching someone else do it
Manuals... those will warm your heart like no other.
Cool ride! We’re building a roadrunner for the the strip from scratch.
Lol. I've noticed that pretty much everybody telling him how to do it has absolutely no vehicles or Builds on their Channel.
Just an observation😉

b-body pistol grip shifters take a mighty throw
Damn near hit the dash going into 3rd
A stick in mud , slow as molasses , that stick is brutal ........ wore out ?
I had a 69 roadrunnerin in 69 this was great to see in 2021 thank for bringing back the thrill again
I also had a new 69. Long throw shifter also, but 323 rears. Not so good short track but great top end.. power shifting was fun. Duane
Awesome run amigo! Very good indeed.
Yep. I remember that sound...
I love manual gearbox 🤩
That sound..... just wow.
Those Pistol Grip shifters were tough to power shift. Went and bought a Mr Gasket for the 70 Charger. Only needed one tweak and it was "Good to Go"
Pure badassness!
Just subbed. An Italian driving a Roadrunner. That has to be subscribed to !!
Italians love Mopar, so do Basques!

Super job shifting! Gotta get a tighter shifter.
So awesome. 👍
Did those front tires come up briefly on launch? Sure seems like it. Either way nice run
Ci vediamo DOmani! Grande rivanazzano! peccato oggi piova!! complimenti!
BANG them gears bro
I had no idea Bruce Dern drove race cars.
Raced one of these with my 68 Coronet R/T years ago.
How built though? Stick would be, what, mid 13's?
I'm putting a 4 speed in my 1972 plymouth scamp with a 465 horsepower 408 stroker motor
Aaaaah yesssssss
Uber cool, but no seat belt?
Where can i get that helmet for my RR racer!
Excellent.
try it once WITHOUT taking a smoke break between gears....just sayin
@@cw9734 i see YOU are as quick with a reply as he was with shifting.....only took you a year hahahahaha
Thats funny, 185.6 KMH make it sound fast so what is that in MPH ?
Google it dude, 👊🏻🎯
115mph
KM/H ÷ 1.6 = MPH 🤔
How much hp?
Speed shift it next time! Keep that right foot down for God's sake!
Big helmet. No neck support behind him....what's the point. His neck is going to snap.
Proof of E.T. beside just a on board video of the driver?? Come on now! Really??
😎 nice
looks like a rush
wtf is kmh
So the logic of my late pop is clear..he would let me buy a 69 4 spd..instead a 75 440 cordoba while fun..not this fun
Probably will do 12 flat when you learn to shift it!
How fast is yours in the Quarter and what car?

Tore the stock shit up the first month.......LOL
Helmet needs more sparkles.
Definitely not stock.
Need driver mod lol
Goosies
wow?
the long pistol grip shifter is the worst
No the PGS is the coolest.
That's a old man shifter.
I guess he should have lost....
kmh?? Haha I guess it makes it sound better
Learn how to power shift..you never let off the gas..feather the clutch and bang gears
It s not a dsg gearbox 😆
Bet it's stolen
Yup a lot of cars get stolen from America get shipped over to Europe
You Would Go a Sec Faster ✅ If You Change Your Shifter or Go Automatic
Change that shifter you probably get another second off your time
