God gave us free will. We sin when we make a choice that is incompatible with goodness, with God Who is Goodness. Atheism has no free will. You are a biological machine controlled by electrical impulses in the brain which occur because of a predetermined series of events. Without God, there is no choice, no free will, no morality, no scientific method, no reason for existence or for anything.

I mean, it makes sense considering Atheism and Nihilism which is the reality of atheism is the smallest minority of groups in the world still so a lot of people who do not really know about faith leave. Not out of "proof" that God does not exist, natural science does not attempt to answer. A lot of the smartest people in the world were Theists that take from Philosophy and rationality. Naturalism was invented in the late 18th century and they insist kind of in a cult like way that science is the only form of absolute truth, which is bull waste. Science cannot give us all the answers in the universe it can only explain so much before we have to just accept how things work like human conciseness and moral ethical laws which is not material things we can observe
