    The Stewart’s were so fun to watch.
    This was 1964. The girls were only 13 years old, and played incredibly well. 👏

    That Kelly was so bright !! Better than most adult players. My son passed away from Cystic Fibrosis so it made me teary eyed when her prize money was donated to help fund research 🔬 !! Blessings from California to all my fellow fans. 🦚

    This was such an awesome episode! Jimmy and Gloria were such a wonderful couple and they're very good players. Their twin daughters, Judy and Kelly, aren't too bad themselves. This was such a blast to watch. Thanks for uploading this one-I needed a pick-me up after the week I've had! :)

    Funny, I think here in 2023 with the clue "Chinese……" I think most people would say "Food." I don't even know if youngsters would know much about Chinese laundry as a common saying/thing.

    1:46 Jimmy's talking about Shenandoah filmed Aug. 1964, hence the same time as this shows filmdate. You can see the beard in the film.

    • @manidig

      A stage hand did that. Since the stage was probably elevated Alan is just being funny since he has to bend over to get them.

    Kelly Stewart was clever enough to know some history, because she was trying to use 'Bell' as in the inventor Alexander Graham Bell, in order to get her father to say Telephone.

    Looks like the twins had different color hair. Did one of them dye it?
    In any case, it's fun to see this family together!
    (Even though Jimmy Stewart was before my time; I'm only 35 born in 1986, and the only movie of his I know is It's A Wonderful Life).

    Not being an English native speaker, even after rewatching it several times, I can't understand the word they are laughing at after Judy's response to Jimmy's "Webster's". I assume she answered "weapon" (maybe I mistake it), but don't get their reaction basis. To put it simply, which word could be the one Judy had thought about. Could anyone spell it for me, please? I'm really curious :)

    Laundry has been used a few times on here, and each time, the clue is Chinese.... what does Chinese have to do with Laundry?

    • @lawsonj39
      @lawsonj39 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Apparently Chinese ran a lot of laundries in the 1800s and early 1900s; it became a stereotype. You see a lot of references to it in old movies.
