Agree on the Luke and Grogu but I love retro versions of the modern media as it adds to my vintage line. I know they aren’t vintage but it expands the line.
I appreciate that you reviewed this wave of the retro line. I didn't pick these up and I also passed on the Ahsoka wave (which I've seen is hitting the Ross stores for discounted pricing already), And as for the phantom menace Wave, it's really saying something when the only figure that remotely interests me out of that pack is Jar-Jar. 🤣 I think the original mandalorian retro wave sold fairly well, which is why we have continued to get more and more modern series retro figures. That said, there are some figures that I really like that have come out in the retro line, that are modern, as I find they fit with the originals fairly well. However, the novelty has worn off at this point. And while I'll still pick up some modern retro from time to time I'm sure, you're 100% on point in that what fans I think truly want is the re-release of the originals, and maybe a few additions such as the Mon Mothma or Tarkin offerings that fill voids in the original Kenner lineup. Sorry you had to spend the money to do this video, but it was useful for me. And hopefully useful for others. Happy New Year's Dean. And May 2024 be one of your best yet 🎉
I actually like this line. Reason is, My main collection is the original 78-85 range. They fit in well, and what I especially like about them is that you usually get just the main characters in the collection of 6 to 8 figures. So you're not buying 50 to 100 figures if you're like me who likes to complete a set. I will admit though, I have not bought everything in the retro range. I don't like the multicolour prototype figures, and I found the Ashoka range a poor choice, with no Night troopers or Grand Admiral.
Totally bypassed this lot Dean... EXCEPT, a dud buy a couple just to open oddly enough (for me) One of which was the Tusken Warrior, which I solely bought to add to my Tusken shelf, for army building purposes. 😉👌🏼
Love your vids, mate! I agree that the Tusken Warriors will look great alongside the original Kenner Tusken Raiders, and will help give the army building a little variety. I also personally like the Luke (I think of him as a variant to the original ROTJ Luke, a "chase" figure some 40 years after the fact) and Krrsantan because I think it would be nice to have another Wookie to go along with the original Kenner collection. Looking forward to more OnlyOneKenobi content in the new year...
Helpful review and showcase, thanks Dean. I also want the original SW trilogy retro line of figures released in full, although I do like the general retro figure design (and the classic way they have the eyes stamped on), so I can understand why some collectors will appreciate the look of these retro style designs compared to more detailed and realistic character designs of the modern TV show/movie characters.
I am looking forward to getting these some of them will display well with my Shadow of the Empire Slave 1 and the Jabba the Hut Thrown room I want more of these for the newer series like The Bad Batch more of Ashoka series. I do agree let's get more of the original series characters but do not ignore the new series either.
Well done and fair review video. I personally still enjoy this wave although I wish they would focus more on OT. Have to think Hasbro follows Disneys lead on this and Disney+ and Galaxy’s Edge show little love for OT. I do like that they are making retro style figures for new/all Star Wars though. Even with Kenner back in the day I wished we got more New Hope figures but still appreciated when the Empire and RotJ figures came (most of them anyway).
I’m collecting some retro figures but not whole sets ,this set of figures I only see 2 or 3 that shows possibility’s of getting maybe ,the SW episode 1 set sorry due but I hav to get them. Thanks for showing great close up shots and details of each one it shows what ur buying.
I just want more vintage reissues. The ones they've done so far sold faster than any other SW stuff, and became scalper mark-ups too quickly. I don't get why they're slow almost to the point of being unresponsive to where the demand is. At the top of my list is the 2001 TIE Bomber reissued in classic white with a vintage-style box.
Definitely the right approach if picking up these figures at all. I probably won't wait for the discount stores when it comes to 2 or 3 of the figures from this line, but I'd only consider the others if I found them on clearance.
To be honest with you, I initially had the same thoughts as you at first. I love the Vintage retro collection figures however these other figures are starting to grow on me as funny as that might be. I just wish it wasn't taking so long for Hasbro to get us more vintage retro figures.
Love the video and I mostly agree with you. In the recent modern media waves I been picking up a couple per wave. Even though I agree that there isn’t much of an audience I LOVE that I can add my favorites to my shelf. Some of my ultimate favorites are in the Ahsoka wave. I have most all I want so I may be contributing to the peg warming of these going forward. As always thanks for your content!
The only figure from this line that I picked up was the Grogu just to get the backpack for the forthcoming Stan Solo Dagobah Luke. However, seeing that it broke straight away, I may need to use my vintage backpack.
The dollarama in Canada have been getting the retro mandalorian wave 2 figures for $5 cash each, I'm sure more retro figures from the tv shows will soon be hitting dollar stores.
I agree with the laziness of Hasblow. In saying this I wouldn't get this line personally as I think it does have way too many re-issues. Thanks for your thoughts mate. Good luck with 2024 coming fast. Cheers🍻👍
If I thought the Luke and Tusken Warrior would be there someday, I would wait for them, but I think those two will be hard to find at the discount chains.
The way the figures are sculpted looks ok to me. The choice of characters/accesorries could be seen as a missed opportunity for new figures in the Kenner style. I had rather seen a few 'missing' characters in the Kenner line being produced: Droids, pilots, background characters etc. Looking at the choices of characters produced by our beloved 'indie makers' we can conclude once again: 'fans are doing the best work'
To each his own. I took a pass on most of the Obi Wan wave and all of Ahsoka. There are 2 or 3 here that I may, eventually, pick up. Love the retro style.
Like you I only collect the Retro collection line. I haven't purchased or even want the new Disney ones or the prequel ones. Retro collection should remain true to its roots and Hasbro should complete the original line.
I'm a gen xer that grew up with the original trilogy, and have been a lifelong Star Wars fan, so i'm as old as the guy that made the video, and I disagree somewhat with his opinion. I have a majority of the original kenner figures from my childhood, so I dont plan on collecting any of the retro OT figures, since I already have the originals, but I really like the new media figures done in this old kenner style format. I dont care for reproductions of the originals, since they were alreayd done. I'd rather see new stuff and the black series and vintage line do nothing for me, but these figures have really hit the nostalgia button. These are little plastic pieces of art, and i'm fine with them making figures for the Mandalorian, Book of Boba and Ahsoka in this format. The Disney + series may not be everyones cup of tea, but these figures are still nice, and they only produce the main characters making the lineup not overflooded with a lot of mundane characters that only got a few seconds of screen time.
I enjoy most of the Retro figures, but I have to agree on the "repack" of figures that have already been produced in the line. However, I do prefer when they release NEW characters from the OT, such as Mon Mothma in the recent ROTJ six pack. That line also included Yak Face, a figure that's very expensive to pick up in the original line. Which brings me to what I wish they would do with the retro line and that is reissue the "Last 17", which can be cost-prohibitive to add to a vintage collection... Oh and give us a Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise!
Exactly. If they were to do the Last 17, they would make an absolute fortune and at the same time, allow collectors to complete their vintage collections for a really good price.
The Luke is a lazy attempt but one fun thing about that I'm sure Hasbro had no idea about...the black cloak makes him look like the original 1983 prototype that was seen on the original Jedi cardbacks. It's not much of a victory but it's a fun thing. I always liked the black cloak in the photo.
Genuinely excited for the SWRC Phantom Menace, and the Ashoka Set 2 whenever that drops. As long as they can actually hold their accessory and stand up on their own ,they're doing their job in my book. XD
A few of these figures look really nice, like Fennec Shand, Tusken raider, Krrsantan and Cad Bane, but the repacks of Luke and Mando are a piss take. I might be tempted by Hera Syndulla from the next wave but only because I like her colour scheme. I don't own any other Retro Collection figures.
Thanks, Dean, for the review and I hope you had a nice Christmas. I have all but three of those figures and felt more or less the same about Luke. That said, in the latest Star Wars Insider (that I received for Christmas - I am not a subscriber), in the article of the latest retro ROTJ line, the Hasbro representative said they wanted to get the "feel" of the original figures. This version of Luke does feel like my childhood Luke; Krrsanten does not. I will not be purchasing Mando and the jury is out on Grogu. Maybe I should pick up a vintage backpack as the quality might be better. That said, I like the retro versions from the newer shows. I am not a big fan of the overly articulated Vintage line and I have to limit my spending, so I am glad that they produced these figures. I am disappointed in the latest Ahsoka line. I received some retro Ahsoka figures for Christmas. Why the main antagonist, Baylan Skoll, was not included. Neither was Thrawn, Anakin, or Ezra. Instead we get 1 robot, 4 women, and 1 Marok (male? female?). Ahsoka is the same exact figure as in the Mando wave (but with a new shawl) and Morgan doesn't even come with a weapon. Easily she, the robot and Marok should have been replaced by the three mentioned above. Sabine and Hera were good choice. I believe Hasbro is catering to the woke mentality that could spell their doom if they follow in Disney's footsteps.
I get why some people like them, but with modern sculpting, paint, and articulation, retro-style figures just aren't for me. I have made two exceptions, though: Stan Solo Creations Amanaman, and a Super7 "Aliens" set, because it had a repro of the unreleased 4" Alien from the 1970s, and a 3.75"-scale power loader.
@AllThings80s despite our disagreement, I wish you a very happy new year! Find a place in your heart where you will allow yourself to rewatch Book of Boba Fett and discover it's brilliance. You will be a better man for it. Be free of the shackling hatred you currently feel. Warm blessings, Dean.
When it comes to having Din D'jarrin, Luke & Grogu in a wave, it would be fine if Hasbro was just trying to keep the more popular figures in circulation, thus reissuing them - similar to Kenner reissuing ANH & ESB characters on RotJ cards back in the day. I'm fine w/that. But...don't reissue these figures - in place of - other characters, creatures, vehicles & playsets people want instead.
I collect the retro line but i am only interested in the original trilogy figures like yourself, zero interest in the other waves despite liking the Mandalorian TV Show (No nostalgia attachment to the figures). However i think even original trilogy although far more popular is still slightly peg warming as you can still aquire the single figure releases of the ROTJ figures from 'Star Action Figures' site here in the UK at below RRP months after release. Hasbro Pulse is being used to guage interest in the figures so they dont over produce them, so as much as it sucks i think thats why they stopped doing single carded releases :( . I am still unable to pre-order the ROTJ 6x fig multipack from Hasbro Pulse here in the UK as its sold out, i am sure they will do another run, its just a case of when.
I still have most of my original Kenner / Palitoy figures from back in the day. While these new ones look good in terms of resembling the on screen characters while also honouring the style of the old figures they unfortunately don’t have good stories to back them up. The original trilogy inspired us as kids to either reenact scenes or create new ones of our own. I don’t know if the same could be said for the Disney stuff.
Oh, if only I had taken better care of my original Kenner figures. I still have some of them, but none of the accessories, and among the figures that "walked out" of my collection (i.e. were stolen by my older cousins) was a Blue Snaggletooth (which I have since replaced) and a Vinyl Caped Jawa (which I will likely never have again). I have two nephews who are currently roughly the age I was when I LOVED Kenner Star Wars figures. They couldn't be less interested in action figures and spend most of their days playing video games, so I think the days of kids loving action figures like we did are now just a bygone era.
Agreed. The Original Trilogy is the ONLY one that matters - however, I’d be interested in the 1978 Holiday Special too, if Hasbro decided to produce the figures in the RETRO style. I suspect Hasbro are staggering the OT RETRO releases to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the original SW film; so they’re adding the new DISNEY crap to pad out the 1978-85 OT lines until 2027.
Lucasfilm decides what content Hasbro can produce action figures from. Any planned action figure line up for Star Wars must first be approved by Lucasfilm. Lucasfilm (under Disney)wants their content produced as products over the George Lucas era. It’s largely out of Hasbro’s control as per the license agreement.
Hey Dean👋 Hope your well mate👍 Yep, great figures but poor character choice!! These characters aren’t for me either… my plan is to stick to the original re-issue figures…. I may well pick up Chopper (C1-10P) from Ashoka, as I think this figure goes well with the original figures, but that would be my exception. In my opinion HASBRO are doing with Retro collection what Mattel are doing to MOTU Origins… it’s a real shame they don’t seem to be listening to the fans👎 The lazy re-use of Luke, Grogu & Madalorian explains why this line up of figures is the biggest yet. Personally I’d like to see more original trilogy 6pks and if HASBRO want to offer something new…. I’d love to see a couple of Retro collection vehicles (ie. Falcon/ AT-AT/ X-Wing etc). A really good video non the less. Cheers Dean! All the best for the new year mate👍🍻
@@AllThings80syep. And that was the highlight. Retro range is fine until they go do something stupid like make new stuff in a retro style. Love the RETRO retro range. No time for all this Di$ney plus stuff.
Not a bad policy. I primarily focus on the OT, but some pieces occasionally come along that nicely compliment the original Kenner line,. From this wave, I will likely shell out a few bucks for the Luke and the Tusken Warrior. I'm on the fence with Krrsantan but will likely go for one because I think it would be nice to have another wookie to display with my original Kenner collection.
Hasbro is really stupid how to add extras rather than to make an extra Figure for one accessory. Luke's black cape would make sense for a figure that doesn't wear a tunic, so Poncho Luke wouldn't be the only non tunic version. The Dark Sabre you already have if you bought Moff Gideon. So this is straight a one way ride to being dumb and f'kd. Luke and Grogu I would have released as a Double Pack. As mentioned above, my Luke would have no tunic. As for Grogu I remember he wore the armor vest at this point. So I would create a Grogu figure similar to Empire Strikes Back Yoda with the Vest molded to the figure but with a Cloth Robe.
It is because the higher ups at Hasbro who are clueless along with Disney execs who are clueless as well, work together to give figures ppl have no interest in.
I mostly want the original Kenner run but also figures they did not make in the initial run. However, I like the TBOBF and Ahsoka waves to. So, I’m not going to bitch that much over them. 😂
Would love to get into retro collection, but way to many of them are from the new shows. Do not really care if they are in line but majority of releases are from new shoews. If it was 75 percent original trilogy and prequels would be all in
What do you think about the phantom menace retro collection wave? I am deeply confused and conflicted about it. It seems TPM is starting to hold some nostalgic value for me, even though I was an 80's kid and TPM is one of my least favourite SW films. In fact TPM along with Metallica's Load album were the biggest disappointments of my young life. Anyway about those TPM retro figures. I have 1999 original TPM figures that are better than the new retro-modern 5 POA but they're also 25 years old, starting to become vintage. Wouldn't it make more sense to recreate those?
Kenner repacked the same figures on cardbacks all the time. Farm boy Luke outfit on every movie’s cardback. Boba Fett - same figure on SW, ESB and ROTJ cardbacks. Always funny to hear OT purists complain about this when the holy Kenner did the entire history of the company pertaining to Star Wars figures.
How is Kenner releasing a Farm Boy Luke on an Empire Strikes Back cardback and a ROTJ cardback with photo from A New Hope with the same accessories not worse? Not a lazy repack because its Kenner. The delusion here just for the sake of complaining is ridiculous. Also hilarious to complain about these figures yet purchased them. Way to stick it to Hasbro there. @@AllThings80s
@@toddalanbreland Good Lord, did you even bother to read what I posted? Kenner did NOT do repacks. The entire line of figures was always available to purchase and they just changed the card backs to reflect the latest movie. Please engage your brain before leaving comments on my channel.
i mean its aimed at collectors who only collect the old crusty stuff and has run out of stuff to buy 2 decades ago and refuses to buy anything with articulation..they already have all their 700usd grails in mint boxes and graded cardbacks...this allows them to buy stuff they can actually open without crying over lost value...all current products hasbro makes has crap plastic its not just the retro line
If they made these out of the same plastic used in the 1980s, I'd be all in despite the drivel of modern Star Wars. As is, the Retro Collection has been largely a disappointment with an occasional figure I think I can repaint to look right and the occasional accessory I'll donate to an actual vintage figure. Modern cheap, soft plastic just sucks and cannot emulate vintage materials. THAT's why Stan Solo figs are forth the forty dollars.
I bought Luke, Grogu, and two Raiders. I've been pretty selective with all the non OG retro style figures. I pick most of them up on sale though. You can get a lot of them for 60+% off. This wave is especially bad though. Really ugly figures, that don't really fit the retro vibe.
I'm sick of the Retro Collection stinking up the pegs. It's especially annoying when a character comes out in the Retro Collection *before* they come out in the Vintage Collection.
They are making figures no one wants and they wonder why they are losing money 😬 The new shows have been woke trash and Disney could care less about true Star Wars fans. 😡 Keep up the great videos! 🙌🏼
Kudos to you. The only way Disney and Hasbro will abandon their current trajectory is if enough fans refuse to consume the content they continue to pump out. I salute you for not watching the TV shows.
Kudos to you. The only way Disney and Hasbro will abandon their current trajectory is if enough fans refuse to consume the content they continue to pump out. I salute you for not watching the TV shows.
Dean, I think the least desirable figure of all time (Rose Tico) will not be in danger of having her title taken by any of the figures from this wave of retro figures. Now, for my thoughts on these figures in the order you reviewed them; Fennec Shand; a lame figure for a totally unnecessary character. Call me old fashioned, but if I am watching a series purported to be about Boba Fett, I'd rather not be subjected to the Disney Bait & Switch by which a "strong female character" comes in and becomes the primary focal point. Easy pass. Cad Bane; being a bit of a Star Wars purist (preferring the original trilogy to all other properties), I have not historically been a Cad Bane fan. I liked the VC figure well enough, but this retro Cad Bane is another dud for me. Krrsantan is the first hit of the wave for me. I know little to nothing about the character, but another Wookie to go along with the original Kenner collection is welcome (and I won't have to pay as much for one of these as a figure from Stan Solo). The Tusken Warrior is another hit for essentially the same reason I liked Krrsantan; these figures will make great army builders and should look really great beside the original Kenner Tusken Raiders. Boba Fett; again, being a purist, I prefer the classic Boba Fett. I am of the opinion that recent Boba Fett figures have not been Boba Fett figure. but rather Temeura Morrison figures. To me, the guy just isn't Boba Fett and I'll take a pass on this one. We'll have to agree to disagree on the Luke Skywalker Jedi Academy figure; I think I prefer the black cloak this figure comes with tthis figure o the traditional brown cloak included with the Return of the Jedi version. I like this figure most of all and consider it to be at the top of the "must have" list for this wave. The latest Mandalorian is just more of the same (I've lost count of the number of retro Mando figures produced to date) and this rehash figure will also be a pass for me. Grogu; we'll end on a note we can agree on; he is a bit overrated and his figure will also be a pass. So, when it comes to this wave of 8 figures, I really like 3 of them, but consider the other 5 to be figures that are just not for me. And I 100% agree with you that when it comes to the retro collection, the focus should be on rounding out the original Kenner selections (but let's be honest, how many people REALLY want a Retro Collection Lobot?) Let's see some more of the Last 17 and a Blue Snaggletooth!!!
@@AllThings80s Thanks for reading the comment in its entirety. It was longer than I initially intended it to be, but once I got started the thoughts just kept coming. Looking forward to more content in 2024.
@@AllThings80s I found most of this wave at a GameStop yesterday. No Luke, which was the one I wanted most. I did pick up the Tusken Warrior. I am still on the fence with Krrsantan. I didn't pick one up yesterday when I had the chance, but likely will at some point.
Not a fan of these retro figures that tie into the new tv series just a blatant cash grab by Hasbro. May be good for younger Star Wars fans, but for those of us that experienced the original figures these go into the GENERAL MADINE hall of fame of a waste of plastic.
The Tusken Warrior is one of 3 figures that I like from the line. I kind of consider the Luke a variant from the original ROTJ Luke (I can only imagine that my mind would have been blown in 1983 to have a choice between the brown cloak and black cloak versions of the figure) and lastly, Krrsantan has me intrigued because I think it would be nice to have a second Wookie that would nicely compliment the original Kenner collection. But other than those 3 exceptions, I consider the other 5 figures to be fairly pointless (setting aside main point to all of this, which is to extract dollars from us).
Why release TPM figures when previous figure's of most of these characters from that movie peg warmed ... learn from your mistakes Hasbro, popular sells
@@jaws848 If I may offer a counter-point, with the full disclosure that I am a bit of an Original Trilogy purist so I don't follow a lot of Disney, I will say that conceptually I like the idea that Luke eventually had the chance to train a young member of Yoda's species. It is a bit of a full circle as Yoda passed on lessons that Luke in turn could pass along to Grogu. But in general, I have checked out when it comes to Disney Star Wars, so I am sure if they haven't messed up this idea yet, they will eventually. As far as Hasbro caring or not caring, like every other corporation, they exist to extract dollars from us, so if they care at all, it is the bottom line that drives what they care about.
@@James-l8o7d the problem with hasbro not caring is they don't listen to what collectors actually want but rather TELL collectors what they want....they have an attitude and policy of "we don't care what you want, instead we are going to TELL you what we are making and you WILL sit there and like it".....also haslab is not available worldwide in terms of contries they WONT and DONT ship to...im in Ireland and they don't ship here and on the european mainland there are only 4 coubtries they ship to so if you are in Europe and dont live in any of thoae 4 countries hasbro are giving you the big two fingers and don't care.....not that it bothers me as 1) i got out of collecting about 5 years ago and 2) i would NEVER crowd fund anything from a company like hasbro...they have appeox $12 BILLION in their corporate bank account so they don't need it
Just because you don't like them, doesn't mean other people don't want them. If you don't like them, then why did you buy them? Stop being a hypocrite. I hope they do another wave from Book of Boba Fett, just to hear you complain!
Why would they do the same old figures? And why should they listen to an ot blind lover? I'm with you on hasbro being stupid and lazy. But you have thrown all that away by criticizing a show that you won't even give a chance, saying prequels are nothing and you just love the ot. Well you do look the part, oldie

I had rather seen a few 'missing' characters in the Kenner line being produced: Droids, pilots, background characters etc. Looking at the choices of characters produced by our beloved 'indie makers' we can conclude once again: 'fans are doing the best work'
The fans are indeed, doing the best work. 👍🏻
To each his own. I took a pass on most of the Obi Wan wave and all of Ahsoka. There are 2 or 3 here that I may, eventually, pick up. Love the retro style.
👍🏻
Like you I only collect the Retro collection line. I haven't purchased or even want the new Disney ones or the prequel ones. Retro collection should remain true to its roots and Hasbro should complete the original line.
Absolutely 👍🏻
Fair enough 👍🏻
I don't mind them, give my kids new characters to play with
👍🏻

👍🏻
👍🏻
One plus to the Grogu. He comes with that backpack. That can be used for the Stan Solo Dagobah Luke!
True 👍🏻
I get why some people like them, but with modern sculpting, paint, and articulation, retro-style figures just aren't for me.
I have made two exceptions, though: Stan Solo Creations Amanaman, and a Super7 "Aliens" set, because it had a repro of the unreleased 4" Alien from the 1970s, and a 3.75"-scale power loader.
👍🏻
I have totally asked for these! I do not want remakes of most of the original figures. I already have them!
Really? You actually asked for these?

👍🏻
👍🏻
👍🏻
@@James-l8o7d I think you’re right, I keep forgetting I’m becoming an old fart and kids today can’t be expected to do the same stuff I did years ago.
👍🏻
Cad Bane is quite nice to add to a Jabba’s throne room diorama or a cantina as an extra bounty hunter
👍🏻
Lucasfilm decides what content Hasbro can produce action figures from. Any planned action figure line up for Star Wars must first be approved by Lucasfilm. Lucasfilm (under Disney)wants their content produced as products over the George Lucas era. It’s largely out of Hasbro’s control as per the license agreement.
Sure
Are the retros selling for more than the vintage collection?
Do you mean in stores or on eBay?
Hey Dean👋
Hope your well mate👍
Yep, great figures but poor character choice!!
These characters aren’t for me either… my plan is to stick to the original re-issue figures….
I may well pick up Chopper (C1-10P) from Ashoka, as I think this figure goes well with the original figures, but that would be my exception.
In my opinion HASBRO are doing with Retro collection what Mattel are doing to MOTU Origins… it’s a real shame they don’t seem to be listening to the fans👎
The lazy re-use of Luke, Grogu & Madalorian explains why this line up of figures is the biggest yet.

I totally agree. Release the old kenner figures and skip this nonsense.

Nope
If its not OT then im not buying....
Very smart. 👍🏻

I have no interest in TPM figures at all.

Hasbro dropped the ball with Luke. Should have put him on an Endor Luke body with the Jedi Luke head.

WRONG!!! Kenner made sure all the figures were available all the time which is completely different to the lazy repacks Hasbro does.

Good points 👍🏻
If they made these out of the same plastic used in the 1980s, I'd be all in despite the drivel of modern Star Wars. As is, the Retro Collection has been largely a disappointment with an occasional figure I think I can repaint to look right and the occasional accessory I'll donate to an actual vintage figure. Modern cheap, soft plastic just sucks and cannot emulate vintage materials. THAT's why Stan Solo figs are forth the forty dollars.
👍🏻
I bought Luke, Grogu, and two Raiders. I've been pretty selective with all the non OG retro style figures. I pick most of them up on sale though. You can get a lot of them for 60+% off. This wave is especially bad though. Really ugly figures, that don't really fit the retro vibe.
👍🏻
I'm sick of the Retro Collection stinking up the pegs. It's especially annoying when a character comes out in the Retro Collection *before* they come out in the Vintage Collection.
👍🏻
They are making figures no one wants and they wonder why they are losing money 😬 The new shows have been woke trash and Disney could care less about true Star Wars fans. 😡
Keep up the great videos! 🙌🏼

I'll wait for them to go on clearance and then buy these babies, lol. Not worth $12. I'd pay $6 or $7 for them.

Load of shit, I haven’t heard of most of those figures as I haven’t watched any of the tv shows.

Kudos to you. The only way Disney and Hasbro will abandon their current trajectory is if enough fans refuse to consume the content they continue to pump out. I salute you for not watching the TV shows.
LOL. You're a wise man. 👍🏻

Yup 👍🏻
Apart from the Tusken Warrior 🙄, I don't get the point of releasing any of these figures. In fact there is no point.

@@James-l8o7d the problem with hasbro not caring is they don't listen to what collectors actually want but rather TELL collectors what they want....they have an attitude and policy of "we don't care what you want, instead we are going to TELL you what we are making and you WILL sit there and like it".....also haslab is not available worldwide in terms of contries they WONT and DONT ship to...im in Ireland and they don't ship here and on the european mainland there are only 4 coubtries they ship to so if you are in Europe and dont live in any of thoae 4 countries hasbro are giving you the big two fingers and don't care.....not that it bothers me as
