Blood in blood out was a crazy movie too
O hell yeah! But for some reason I enjoy American Me better
@@FillmoCinema probably because American me came out first and blood in blood out was sort of based off American me but with a different plot but basically same character one was Santana one was Montana but both were killed because they lost sight of the ganglife
@@peteypizzillo1142 yeah I noticed that they where similar my Blood In used fictional gangs instead of using the names of real street gangs like American Me did
@@FillmoCinema yeah but that's half true and the main character in American me had a hit 🎯 put out on him because of the rape scene ,that made the Mexican mob look bad and got people killed ,I think that's why blood in and blood out was done differently to avoid conflict
@@FillmoCinemablood in blood out was loosely based on cocoliso aka Joe Pegleg Morgan from eme, miklo and JD was based on same guy, I know people like to deny it but u gotta look at simple facts, miklo velka, they gave him a slavic last name just like Joe Morgan who was Croatian and originally named medugorac, his dad changed it to become more Anglocized, slavics weren't considered white back in day, miklo moves to east LA just like cocoliso, he looses his leg just like Cocoliso, climbs the ranks in prison just like cocoliso, JD, Miklo, Cocoliso are 1 in the same, Joe Cocoliso Morgan inspired

Ugh, I saw this when I was a teen in the late 90s. I went to a woman my mom knew to get my hair in braids which takes hours. Of all the movies or tv shows to put on while doing my hair, she puts on American Me (which by her reactions she'd never seen it before and neither had I).

Such a grim movie about Juvie hall in UK. Its a very watered down version how Barstools ( baby jails) where back then.
