Yeah, so the questing route was primarily developed by a user called mildbyte, who used advanced mathematical techniques to basically "calculate" a route. Eventually he released a proof of concept run as well, at which point I went ahead and tried it out for myself. As you can hear, it requires a lot of inputs to control your character like this. It's satisfying to play as well when you get it down pretty solidly! Also, the good thing is that you can "choose" how much speed you get, making it way easier to get used to.

I also think there is a small timesave in the second split where I could potentially just skip having to get the alchemy equipment and then I'd have buy a Dreugh Wax as well. I also made a mistake with not visiting the Archcanon for the last required Hlaalu quest to "control the ordinators" which caused me to do two redundant visits. If not for that it would have been sub 40...

When doing land deed, steal the land deed from the widow before joining the Legion, it cuts out two trips to the trade house since you can complete it in one go: Press 7. (equip Lockpick) Go West to Gnisis, Vabdas Hut Pick the chest to the right, and take Widow Vabdas’ Land Deed. Press 8. Cast Amulet of Almsivi Intervention. Go South East to Gnisis, Madach Tradehouse. Clip into the ceiling. Bottom floor South East talk to Darius (Gold Armor Imperial). --join the Imperial Legion -----Sign me up, sir! --Orders --land deed --land deed ----Yes, here it is --Orders --Eggmine Equip the Imperial Chain Cuirass and the Native Gah-Julan Bonemold Helm. Press 8 Cast Amulet of Almsivi Intervention.
Yeah, the route combined with speedrun optimizations really does a lot of work to get all of this done so quickly. Something like the segment at 22:21 - 22:36 probably takes a casual first playthrough around 15-20 minutes or so. Literally going 60 times faster than normal thanks to glitches and a good route.
Well, there are plenty of nice relaxing casual playthroughs to watch. this is meant to be a display of skill applied to a very long and complex route using everything possible in the game, except for things like console commands. I wouldn't be able to talk with chat as easily if I had to use a button to control my mic while playing, that's hard to manage. And I just have a simple USB mic with no stand, for whatever reason I wasn't able to get a headset working and I don't know why, so the mic has to be kind of in front of me where the keyboard is. Monitor, mic, keyboard, me, in that order. Get it? I recommend just turning the volume down more than you think you need to, the game will just have to be a bit quiet.

This is all factions with some caveats. For instance it's technically possible to "be in" House Hlaalu through some dialogue while being in another house. This run doesn't do that as it's meant to be the maximum number of factions that would be possible in a normal scenario while achieving the highest rank. For instance there's the Blades for the main quest but you cannot achieve highest rank, so it's not included. Also there's already a main quest Speedrun so less incentive to include main quest stuff on this run. This video could be somewhat helpful for completing some of the factions, but I'm not sure how much help it would be. There is a slower run with notes on screen which is the proof of concept run by mildbyte. I follow his route mostly but implemented a lot more Speedrun strats/optimizations.
I'm finally buckling down and trying to actually play through this game, which has been sitting in my Steam library for months. I've been a fan of Bethesda's games since I first played Oblivion in 2007, and I've heard much about Morrowind. I knew going into this it would be rough. I can handle the dice roll combat. I can deal with the lack of fast travel. I can look past the fact that every NPC looks like a beef jerky monster walking around like they have a daedric mace stuck up their butts/cloacas (do argonians have cloacas or anuses?). I don't even really mind the awful wikipedia hyperlink dialogue. I can't handle this obnoxiously slow movement speed. I specifically made a character that started with 60 Speed, which should be above average. Yet I'm shambling around with all the alacrity of a sloth on opiates. I know I can "sprint" with the shift key, but that explicitly weakens me for whenever I run into random enemies, and still only feels about 20% faster than walking. This character's "sprinting" speed is only about as fast as my real life walking speed.

Well, there are plenty of nice relaxing casual playthroughs to watch. this is meant to be a display of skill applied to a very long and complex route using everything possible in the game, except for things like console commands. It's because all of the leveling up animations play out during the load for each time I trained

I keep finding only your videos because I'm looking for some explanation on how to join all factions and get the highest complete % in one game.
