Outstanding my friend, this was so enjoyable .😊
Glad the zero went well. That trail today was great ive seen similar videos of it before. Hope you get new shoes soon.
Thank you!
Good night
I can't remember which channel, but MOUNTAIN lion was confirmed. It was "screaming/ calling behind their tent possibly to another cat across the way.
Gosh I’m so glad I missed it!
@@hikercattrails Oh, Don't worry .. it saw you lol. And I am quite sure many more will. They're just curious.
Have a good day , a good day
You too!
So, you lost your hiking partner. You will find somebody else soon.
It's always interesting how tramilies form and disintegrate.
I was watching another hiker twosome, an older gentleman and a younger lady.
They met on the AT, so they started the PCT together.
I just distinctly remember at the beginning, she kept saying we are not going to stop at Julian.
Then the guy started saying we're planning to "pass" Julian.
They they ended up doing a zero at Julian.
She took off and sprinted after that!!
We’re all at different paces, especially at the beginning!
Not a criticism, just an observation, all the hikers I have followed in past years who averaged 10 miles a day, ran out of time and never made it to the Canadian terminus. I'm sure you've done your math and have a plan. Like I said not criticizing.
You need to hike twenty mile days to complete a thru hike on the PCT, before they put in water caches every five miles you had twenty miles between water sources and it weeded out the weak fast
There are numerous factors beyond daily mileage including how much time one has available, weather conditions (which affect trail conditions), and trail closures. And that assume one does not push themselves too hard and take themself off trail with an injury.
@@tailgunnerhikes4703 I have hiked the trail twice and it snows in Washington in Sept. You only have so much time with zero days and a few off trail days you need to average about twenty miles a day.
😂 this comment chain is in regards to a series titled “PCT Slow Hiker.” It’s literally in the title, boys! LOL! This is peak fuddyduddy behavior. HIKE YOUR OWN HIKE, please and thank you!
