DEFEND your walkers. If you lose all your walkers and enemy has all theirs, the map control and money difference is probably gg. It might not yet feel like it but it is. Kills are never worth losing a walker in the early/mid game. You can't just react to enemies showing up at walkers, you need to preemptively be there the moment you see signs of a teamfight brewing or enemy team trying to group to push. Losing guardians? No problem, who cares. Losing lane? No problem, just don't let them kill you and take walker early or you will be the reason your team loses the game. There is no situation pre 10 min where you can't outplay someone diving a walker, just let the waves come to you and don't let it go for free just because you're tilted about losing lane. Don't do jungle camps at the cost of a walker. Shrines and tower guardians are not bad to defend but the walker is the only base part next to the patron you can't be giving away no matter what. I wish so badly people could understand this concept even if they don't understand map control they should know to defend their damn walkers.
One thing that that I applied from dota that is really infinitely more worth it in deadlock is USE YOUR ABILITIES ON CREEPS, in dota using abilities to farm vs just hitting creeps can be a huge difference in how fast you farm but is often limited early on by things like mana, with no mana costs in deadlock and very spammable abilities you can farm so much more faster especially in the early by simply not being afraid to unload all your abilities on a creep camps just to get souls faster and move on
my favorite hero is league of legends from the apex legends using the Roblox item and street fighter 6 runes and the GTA V spell but unfortunately the Minecraft nerfs made dota2 duo lane weaker so its better to go solo, especially against Valurant
take fights that make sense, afk farming to "catch up" when theres a 5v2 on one side of the map and you know the rest of the enemy team is too far away to help will just make you lose slower rather than actually come back
Great video! Question: a lot of guides say to be aggressive in lane and push the wave up. If you’re playing heroes like Infernus or Seven (who you said need to farm before they can really engage), should you play passive in lane?
Pushing the wave up is not so you can be aggressive, it's so you can control the lane. Being passive still means you need to maintain control of the lane
It feels like, due to the stamina system and all these different ways to move quick, you can ALWAYS punch a creep... I even do it on vindicta, using stamina and my stake to get out. I'm quite bad at confirming and denying but punching the shit out of an orb? I can do that
Imagine you are pushing one of the longer lanes on the outside of the map, while the rest of your team is grouped up in another area (escorting urn, taking mid boss, fighting for a walker). Your teammates are going to draw a lot of attention, which means there will be less pressure on you as you push and farm the area around the lane. if nobody on the enemy team tries to stop you, you can easily take multiple objectives and thousands of souls. if the enemy tries to outnumber you while you are alone, that means the rest of your team will have the advantage in their fight, and could wipe the enemies out. if you are able to balance farming solo in enemy territory with not being easy to kill, you will force the enemy team into a scenario where no matter which choice they make, they have an unfavourable outcome
when you split away from the larger teamfight / group to push obj on a different lane, to either take obj or force enemies to leave the fight to defend it (forcing them to split to address your push)
@@Curtis-ih3gv YEAh that's right...I would like to also add that check your hero if that hero you're using had the abilities or damage to clear waves easily or farm easily and if the enemy team switch the pressure on your lane make sure you have the abilities and items to escape the gank so they wouldn't have the chance to change the lane pressure.
Dude slork is friggin broken! I hate that champ with a passion. I pretty much dodge every time I see it. His kit is broken and valve need to nerf or the game will tank. No one slork should have all that power!
Why is everyone's favorite hero Slork??? Wtf???

OOH GOOD IDEA
randomly found Torte De Lini first time after been using your guide for years
yaaaaaaay
I've heard that destroying base guardians does both boost zipline speed and also halve minion income for the opposing team in that lane.
They removed the halving of minion income, as it was a bug.
@@Mrmoocows99 Huh, so now it's only zipline speed?

SO HOT
The main problem I see in every game is that each player think that they're the main character and can do easily 1v2 or 1v3
holy shit, so true and they think they can do it from 0:00

Slork is overrated, Thumper is the best hero in the game.

thanks man. can you please explain what it means to 'split push'? I can understand what it means to push a lane(i think) but what is the split?
The most important part is identifying when it is a good idea to make this play. Don't be a hero if there's nothing to gain.
