If you are on E8 Hokuriku Highway, and are close to Kinomoto Inter, there is a great Japanese comfort food shop where you can get off, refuel, and get back on the highway easily. DONBURIYA is a local mom and pops restaurant serving up some delicious rice bowls and noodles. The Sauce Katsudon was flavorful and crunchy underneath the sauce. The Beef Egg (Tannindon) rice bowl has nice runny eggs over the rice. The Kimchee Pork bowl was saucy and not too spicy. The Yakisoba was addictive but not too salty. This is a great place for your comfort food fix! And it's open late until 9pm... locals keep popping in and out even though there's nothing around here!
