- This is the beginning of our Sword and Sorcery play through. It is a dungeon crawler by Ares games, with many unique mechanics. Sword and sorcery will be returning to Kickstarter November 5th 2018. Just started watching and I find your explanations great! I backed the Ancient Chronicles KS and was looking for an intro to the game system. On another note I really like your minis did you paint and base them yourself? If so it would Be nice to see a video covering that process cheers
Thank you I’m glad my intro helped you. As for your question I do paint and base all my minis. That is my goal for all the games I do on my channel. Unless they don’t have mini I like to have them painted to enhance the experience of the game. I like your idea maybe after I get my Ancient Chronicles pledge I’ll do another painting tutorial of how I got from nothing to hitting the table. Do you have the Kickstarter Edition? I noticed you painting one of the green gremlins to note its blue. However, the set comes with both green and blue figures.
Great question yes this is the Kickstarter copy of S&S. I did paint them with color in mind 2 green 2 blue. I was just demonstrating how I was going to tell them apart hope that makes sense, Thanks Dave again for watching hope you enjoy the playthough

Ahhhhh. You are so right !!! I forgot to grab a shield for him. He has so much speed I might go back for it. Thanks for pointing that out! This is my solo game for now. My wife is enjoying folklore so much this one will have to wait :(. Sadly can’t argue with her both games are awesome!!! Oh and you got close it’s spelled Bairnt. My mom was an English major and found my parents found my name in Germany. She changed the spelling to make it phonetic.

I just recently bought alot for this game and am waiting for it to come in. They were sold out of Vastaryous Lair but I got Darkness Falls and Arcane Portal. Do you have to plaly Vastaryous Lair first for story flow?
That’s an interesting question. From what I understand the Vastaryous lair is the final set of missions in the sword and sorcery universe. Also I believe all the different boxes do have a conclusion to their story, but I could be totally wrong about that. Colin over at the “One Stop Coop Shop”. Has been playing a ton of S&S and would be a great wealth of information. Thanks for the great question and thanks for watching 😃😃👍

Between the 2 I would get sword and sorcery. I still own that game but don’t own Alter Quest hope that helps 😃😃👍
your door is crooked and i can tell you let the wash pool way to heavily on it.
I purposely put the door crooked to show the difference between a regular door and a locked door later in the series. I used a dip on the doors and your right it did pool a little. I haven’t come back to that dip since, but once I paint something it is hard for me to go back to it since I have so many other things to paint and limited time. Thanks for watching.
