Brought up in a social warzone! Some story! The saddest thing of all is , there's thousands of these tales going back 200 years in Glasgow. The young boys a 100 years ago brought up in dire poverty & starvation, forming gangs & fighting each other. A great man (a minister) from Aberdeen coming in and fighting for them to have a club with sports. Trying to get them jobs. The justice system doing their job with little mercy. Multi millions have died on battlefields because of the mad human ego and warped personalities given power over the weaker. To give love & kindness is the greatest feat of any human!! Not just to your kin & friends.
Shaun one of the funniest podcasts iv watched. The way the big man delivers his stories are on the money. Gerry iv never met you mate but could listen to you all day. All the best for the future mate.
Guys a bit mad bit hes very normal in Glasgow you wouldn't think this looking at him not even having a mars bar after all they years is a miracle by its self
thats exactly what i was thinking, our lads managed to keep his face. but he did say he wasn't involved in the gangs so that's likely why. the amount of them jumping abt Milton and possil with huge chibs was just the norm.
Brilliant episode my favourite by far. There’s some warriors from that neck of the woods for sure. Met a few myself and Gerry reminds me of them. Glad he’s doing better.
How you can glorify what this man has done is beyond me. It was my dad he murdered you turned mine and my brothers life’s upside down. The hurt and trauma you caused you will never understand. I spent years wondering what I’d say to you if I had the opportunity I feel sick to my stomach seeing you talking so calmly about what you did. Losing our dad the way we did is something we will never get over and to hear you glorifying it and lying is like it all happen over again. You reap what you sow in life and karma works in mysterious ways.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 easily the best guest ever. He was clearly the real deal. Everyone’s worst nightmare. But also a great guy and someone that can really make a difference to people now. I hope he gets the success and support he deserves ❤ 🏴
Was in saughton with gerry in 2013 he was in a wheelchair I worked on the pass on our wing great guy said some funny stuff "walking Doon there kicking the eyes oot o spiders" respect big Gerry 🤙
Wow Shaun the part where Gerry spoke about no one teaching him the value of money 100% resonates with me. Right down to the part that I know I have an unhealthy relationship with money. It means nothing to me and is meant for spending. Family members lived his lifestyle and through that I grew up with great wealth around me. I totally agree with Gerry that the damage having money can do to people. I hate the stuff but now I'm older realise its something we all need to have if we want to live a 'normal ' life. Have to admit although i personally wasn't involved with the criminality as such personally his stories are similar to those I could look back on by certain people down in the Greenock area.
Jesus this guys stories is sad a lot of hurt in his life but he’s bounced back well and what a character amazing story and good luck for the future Gerry all the best
After my last comment about the hilarious Tony story it got a lot more deeper and I truly believe you've been kept about for a reason mate. ❤😊SHAUN ATTWOOD AND GERRY ROWATT WHAT A GREAT INTERVIEW.
❤️🙏💪
Best one yet Shaun honestly I started listening last night then again the day at work. Gotta be a book or movie in this for sure 👌
utter respect for you Gerry you,if be a great mentor for people who are in the same situation that you were
❤️💪🙏
Can't believe that, nearly 5 hrs flew by, unbelievable stories Gerry Rowatt but true stories unlike others that get interviewed, also well done Shaun Attwood gotta say what an amazing interview made all the better way Gerrys patter the way he tells his stories😂 respect 💯🏴❤️💙
Glasgow and Dublin was the same
❤️💪🙏
100p-c fact 😢

Shaun one of the funniest podcasts iv watched. The way the big man delivers his stories are on the money. Gerry iv never met you mate but could listen to you all day. All the best for the future mate.
Much appreciated
Guys a bit mad bit hes very normal in Glasgow you wouldn't think this looking at him not even having a mars bar after all they years is a miracle by its self
🙏❤️💪
thats exactly what i was thinking, our lads managed to keep his face. but he did say he wasn't involved in the gangs so that's likely why. the amount of them jumping abt Milton and possil with huge chibs was just the norm.
Normal people don't commit murders!!
What about the scars u don't see on his body. He's been well stabbed. Doesn't want to tell that story tho.... do u Gerry?? 🤔🤔🤔
Well done shaun another interesting guest like the way you ask real questions then let gerry talk and tell his story.Well done guys

Absolutely incredible interview
Gerald rowatt ,was dubbed up with this dude ,what a laugh ,brilliant guy.Glad your out gerry boi, ✌️👍💯❤️
Thanks shaun Attwood another great guest in the legend gerry rowatt fantastic
How you can glorify what this man has done is beyond me.
It was my dad he murdered you turned mine and my brothers life’s upside down. The hurt and trauma you caused you will never understand.
I spent years wondering what I’d say to you if I had the opportunity I feel sick to my stomach seeing you talking so calmly about what you did.
Losing our dad the way we did is something we will never get over and to hear you glorifying it and lying is like it all happen over again.
You reap what you sow in life and karma works in mysterious ways.
Your old man was gonna throw him out the window… like you said you reap what you sow 👍🏻
Stay strong katie 💪🏻

@gerryrowatt3012 unreal listen that was mate😂😂 howlin at the stories of the mad bastard way the imaginary guitar 😂😂
Wee ninja 😂😂😂😂
Just finished watching. This was bloody phenomenal 👏🏼 God Bless You, Gerry all the best 👍🏻
Thanks buddy ❤️🙏💪
This has to be the best podcast so far Sean, all the best Gerry will be following you on Facebook .
❤️🙏💪
Jesus this guys stories is sad a lot of hurt in his life but he’s bounced back well and what a character amazing story and good luck for the future Gerry all the best
❤️💪🙏
After my last comment about the hilarious Tony story it got a lot more deeper and I truly believe you've been kept about for a reason mate. You have many life lessons to teach and can live the 2nd half of your life in helping and passing on knowledge. I'm also the same as you great at giving advice but my own worst enemy haha. I hope your health keeps up and wish u all the best 🤞👍
Very good a enjoyed listening to this guy good craick but also speaks a very good message 👍 fantastic storyteller hope he goes on and does more podcasts etc and continues sharing his truth 👍
❤️💪🙏
