    interesting. typing sounds on this keyboard is very different from what I used to. I'm a fan of clicky and tactile keys but this sounds good. I would describe it as 'milky' sound. I know it sounds weird but that's the word that comes to my mind when I hear the typing sound here.

    28:00 Don't know if Taeha ever looks at YT comments on streams, but as someone who has lived in Texas their whole life:
    -Austin is expensive and overcrowded with bad infrastructure but it's got good jobs for SWEs and there's always plenty to do. The people get weird, especially the bums but it's honestly about normal Cali level of weird bums based on my trips to Cali. Austin is essentially California in Texas just hotter and with more guns. I grew up around guns and own some though, as did a lot of folks here so just expect that anywhere you go (esp. Fort Worth).
    -I live in the north Dallas suburbs (Plano/Frisco) and they are generally safe, you can get good internet depending on where you live, reasonable cost of living, and there are plenty of jobs. We are currently booming and will likely continue. It's boring as hell and Downtown is not really any fun unless you have enough cash to live uptown or near Deep Ellum.
    -Fort Worth is the largest small town you could ever live in and the people are pretty nice (I went to law school there, Texas A&M). The 'cowboy culture' gets a bit oppressive and it's the ONLY place I've EVER been racially profiled out of bars. I'm black and it happened on two occasions at two different bars in the arts district, standard 'dress code' BS even though I was wearing chinos and a button-down with no hat, and on the other occasion I was wearing some shorts. It's cheap and there are jobs, but most of it was Oil and Gas or engineering related.
    -Don't move to Houston unless all you care about is food. Best food in the state, worst urban planning/sprawl and weather ever. EVER. Also hurricanes.
    -San Antonio is out of the way of everything and your life will be easier if you speak Spanish, but I frequently go to the wilderness out there to run and backpack because the hills are beautiful.
    The only natural disaster you'll have to worry about (other than pandemic lol) are tornadoes and extreme heat. Electricity is expensive but solar and wind works very well in Texas and development will likely continue to accelerate.

    hi there ! I started off with a velocifire 104 keyboard brown, which was already very cool; Today, I received the durgod K320 white red switch. Wow ! What an amazing difference. Absolutely no wobliness, everything silky soft. So, I wonder how it would feel like to touch a custom made keyboard like you have been building. Am I really missing out or is it a matter of spending 100s of dollars extra for a little amount of better feel & acoustics ?

    • @uwaa4467
      @uwaa4467 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      both, but mostly latter. the appeal of custom is, as the name implies, customization. getting deeper into the hobby ironically results in more experimenting to which leads to more particular tastes and so on, at which point buries you deep in the rabbit hole where the sun doesnt shine after unmoderated investment into the hobby
      or so i've been told
      totally not speaking from experience
