The kiwi fruits in Yunnan are not big, but they're very sweet and soft... I went up the mountain to pick a basket of kiwi fruits and let them ripen slowly. The weather is getting cold, and we roasted a lamb. Every year when the weather turns cold, our family eats some lamb. It seems that we have to have some lamb before entering the winter. The lamb was a bit greasy, so I made some refreshments. Enjoying the delicious foods and chatting together with family members help wiping out fatigue after a day's work. It's getting cold and please keep warm and healthy!

在我们这边，大年三十的晚上，老人总说让我们早点洗脚，要干干净净的洗，这样新的一年，有好吃的才能赶得上。所以每次我们突然回家或者去亲戚家赶上了好吃的，大家都会说，哎哟，三十晚上洗脚洗得早嘛，怎么这么会赶时候，或者也会说今年的“脚长”，有好吃的都可以赶得上。
In our hometown, on the Chinese New Year's Eve night, the old people always ask us to wash our feet early and cleanly, so that we can be on time to enjoy the delicious food in the coming year. Every time we suddenly come back home or visit some relative when there're delicious foods, people say, "Wow, on the Chinese New Year’s Eve night, you must have washed your feet early, otherwise you wouldn't have been on time for the delicious foods." Or we say that your feet are long this year, so you can always be on time for the delicious foods.

In the past my favorite parts were always the preparing of the food. But now it's always when everyone is eating. It doesn't matter if it's just Apenjie, Axia and grandma and grandpa, or if they have their aunts, too. It's always so relaxing and heartwarming to see them enjoy whatever is in front of them and each other's company.
