Reset you dct. While engine is off, twist the throttle full for 10 seconds. Turn the knob to on. You will notice the engine light indicator will turn off. Then press the N, D, D, N, D button. Then turn off again. Start your engine. It should work by then...
i do'nt realy know about bikes but my oncle own one X ADV 750 and i want to help him searching on the internet. His probleme is when the engine warms up a little, the gearbox locks in the current position and he can't change it.
I never encounter it after, but I did not tested it in this extreme temperature after. You do not change anything personally, It will be done in your service by servicemen for free. They do something, exchange some hw, reprogram ecu ??? who knows. This problem is well known also on africa tween all models till 2018. All models 2019 and after do not have this problem anymore. Just go to your service.
Your remote battery is empty, your bike is stuck in gear 2 try move without starting. see your honda dealer for the recall on the wire loom with new temp sensors. after that all should be fine
if I can ask you in conclusion what was the problem... it happened to me 1 week ago and I sent it to the service today and they do the new ubdate but I don't know if I will do it again or not because it only does it when I do some road long
This problem is well known in honda also on afrika twin (for dtc made till 2017), do not know what exactly they did , something with dtc ecu, chchange or only update or some sensor? but it works , problem solved.

@@tirontiron3156 I did dot changed anything, It is duty for honda service to do it for free, it was recall action, I did not payed anything. Go on honda pages, search for recall actions and put there your serial number and it will show up.
go to honda service, they must repear it for free, it is recall action, means problem on honda side, go on honda pages put in your SN and it should show recall action. but I do not know how is it ukraine (all bombarded) or russia(economy-embargo) now?
@@maroskn3008 I ran dct 80.000 and I want to say that this is not a very reliable system. Now there is one problem after another. The most dangerous is the inclusion of a neutral gear at high speed. The motorcycle stops responding to the throttle and that's it. I could have had an accident. Honda service did not find the cause. It's scary to drive this automatic transmission.
guys i'm 100% sure the cause of this issue and i know the solution listen carefully : the issue is in the ratio control motor which is responsible for changing gears, when it is overheated it become weak and stuck resulting in gear stuck solution : remove the ratio control motor and open it, then rub the copper and search in youtube how to maintain electric motor you will understand then return it into place and voila issue fixed
Which production year of bike you mean 2017? or does this problem apply also for new xadv 2021? Have you been with your xadv in service for recall action to change "something" to make it work, it is for free? Is this problem present also after reacallaction from service?
@@maroskn3008 i had the exact same issue with my honda nc750x dct 2016 and i fixed the issue myself cuz i dont have any warranty it is pretty straight forward
@@maroskn3008 yeah all honda dct has the same issue but it is easy to solve if you go to honda dealer chances are he will charge you new dct motor about 300 $ but if you clean it yourself 0 $

even when it was a problem, I just let the engine cool down for 10 minutes and it fixed itself
