I am a big fan of the new Mercury outboards at 400hp and 450hp for high performance boating. It's amazing how much it has changed the industry. It seems like more and more of the big I/O boats are being swapped over. Would be interesting to know how much the ratio in the FL Club has changed in the last 8 or so years between the outboard to big I/O boats.
I can afford a smaller but tolerable boat, but I’ll never be able to afford the fuel on top of it... I guess there aren’t many tinny tiller rigs on the Key West run. Haha
I lean towards getting a 22 classic and presume it would be the first to ever make the big Key West run, if it was even allowed to try. Lol I’d make sure the spine surgeon was down south on stand by.

When your Boat is 2-3-4 times the cost of the Helicopter Filming, you know you're a hard worker.
