I'm watching in 2024-2025. New to the FPC but I love your videos. It's wonderful to see 🌞 and boats and beautiful people having a great time on the water. Keep up the good work. Thank you
Thanks for pumping out these videos Stu, I really look forward to these especially during these difficult times. I really enjoy the sights and sounds of the boats and action in Grove Harbor Marina. Keep up the good work.
Another great episode Stu, thank you. Love the sound clips, those mercury racing motors sound awesome. Keep up the great work, you really are helping me through these tough times.
Thanks Stu and to your hard working staff, excellent videos and camera work, thanks for putting up new content for us to check out,and as always, the ladies, wow just gorgeous,👍👍👍
My pleasure D A ...we spend a lot of time getting these in a polished format on TH-cam, so it's nice to get great comments back from our viewers! Glad we agree on the ladies..🤣🤣
@@FLpowerboatClub you welcome,I always give credit when credit is due,👍,well maybe one day Stu I'll be the one in the center console with a few pretty ladies on y'all poker run oneday,lol..have a good one....
Stu, thanks so much. The production of these is no easy task, greatful for the efforts. Love it when the sound of the motors is captured in the R44. FWIW I do think we'll see the Cig event up here at LOTO in June take place and hope a good group of others will come up. There is already a push to get things moving in the lake area with so many dependent on seasonal economy. If you have need of any logistical support please reach out. It's not FLA but there are some beautiful backdrops with the topography available here if your going to be doing any shooting.
Thank you Thomas we always appreciate great feedback from our viewers after tremendous $$ to gather the content at the events, and then long hours in the studio to bring it all together. Yes indeed, we have the Cig Rendezvous in our sights....so lets cross our fingers and hope it happens!!
Great video as always. You spoke about the Nortech Catamarans. I remember when they were all over the place and now I never see them anymore. Did they stop building cats altogether?
Stephen, yes they slowed down production of the Nor-Tech cats but it was all about the demand in the marketplace. The center consoles really took over with the reliable performance of the Mercury outboards... But anyone who wants a Nortech cat...they will build it for the right price,.. But there are so many good used ones out there, better to find one and re-do to your own custom specs!
Hay y'all Jackie and Captain Stu once again you've nock it out of the park!!! Great Video awesome Boats. Wooooow a 2020 Brand New 47 Lighting O M G hoo.new?????? A new Decade for Fountain Go Fast Boats!!!!!!! Big Fan!!!!! Thank you for. the Surprise????? Love ya all.. Be safe stay freesh......
You're sure heartbroken that they didn't go our Haulover. I get it , it ruined your moneyshots. :( To make sure that never happens again designate a lead boat. He holds the pace and follows directions. This is what we do with vintage car cruises. Simple solution. Secondly shouldn't everyone have an offshore radio??
Phil,...there is an solution and I will address it on future events. It has to do with designating the milling area inside Haulover inlet. With this many teams, it's actually unsafe to have a lead boat. Trust me, after 28 years and over 500 poker runs, it creates unsafe bottlenecks and boats bunch up at the front of the back....adrenaline levels peak, and anxiety of these weekend warriors creates a toxic situation that has almost caused some accidents...But we just need a better procedure at the start of the run, with texting and use of VHF Radios.. Thanks!
There is usually a smaller wake on plane than going slow and plowing water. All the idiots that go past my house (not on plane) have a wake that goes over my brakewall and 8 feet up the yard.
Gary, I think that living on the ICW has some ups and some downs. Your account of on-plane vs. slow cruise at full displacement is something that we as experienced boaters are all familiar with. Therefore, your comment confirms what we all know. I'm curious... are you referring to the general boating population that can be "idiots"? This Key West event occurs once a year and I assume that if you live in Miami area, you are quite use to boats passing your dock 365 days a year. Just looking for clarification, because I don't want you to think our club members are idiots.. We are all experienced boaters for the most part, and we try to be respectful of home owners and fellow boaters at all times. Thanks!
I think you'd be a great host at any event Stu. In every video your dedication to this club is very obvious. You are the greatest asset to the club.
Shaquille catching up on my comments, thanks for the kinds words and support! Its our viewers that keep us going...so thanks for tuning in!
Must be more than a full time job organising these events and then all the video too, great job Stu
thanks Bernard!! Appreciate the kind words!

Midnight express of course!!
Great video as usual. I was wondering average about how many miles you travel on a poker run.
Depends on the event... anywhere from 100 miles roundtrip up to 400 miles if you do Key West from Ft Lauderdale and back.
Me said "money shot"
Yes it is!! thank you
