5:00 I think they go into more detail on this in the novels. Around a week or so after the start of the death game, players were transferred to hospitals and put on fluids to keep them alive while they are unable to feed their real bodies.
Still the average human can only go 3-4 days without ingesting any liquid, you have to wonder how many partners, parents, siblings and more walking in to a dead close one due to just dehydration and thirst
Hey! just found ya guys. Prob too kate for this comment. But Kirito's intention is easily misunderstood. Diabel's dying wish is for Kirito to hold everyone together. Gotta respect someone's final wish. So when the alliance starts infighting over beta players, he realizes the only way for everyone to stay together is for them all to hate a villian. So he swallows hard and becomes that villian. He's resigned to being hated by everyone. And he drops Asuna to avoid bringing her down with him.
It's not the most amazing anime YET, opinions will change in season 3 hehehe Edit: In the Novels, Kirito and Asuna met before this, in the floor dungeon. Also, the guide that is mentioned is by Argo, best girl. She sadly doesn't make much of an apearance in the anime sadly. Diavel couldn't be healed because the potions regen and he was losing health faster than the regen. Kirito went "evil" mode at the end to create a seperate group to take blame so that the beta tester's wouldn't be too blamed. Also Diavel was being selfish wanting the last attack bonus, he wasn't sacrificing himself. In fact, Diavel was trying to buy off Kirito's sword from him. Also most of the deaths in the first month were overconfident beta testers like Diavel.
