  • In this video, Chris from RackUp+Go introduces and reviews the Vitrifrigo DRW180A, a versatile double drawer refrigerator/freezer unit. The DRW180A features adjustable settings allowing either drawer to function as a fridge or freezer, with temperature ranges of 36°-47°F for the fridge and -5° to +5°F for the freezer, all controlled via a touch display. The interior is stainless steel with adjustable dividers and LED lighting for visibility. The unit incorporates an integrated cooling system at the back, offers a flush or protruding mount with a mounting flange, and has a venting position for storage to prevent mold. It operates on 12/24V DC or 100-240V AC, with a power consumption of approximately 5 amps, which is considered modest given its capacity and functionality. The DRW180A also includes a lockout feature to prevent accidental setting changes and is frost-free, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. Chris highlights the convenience and efficiency of the DRW180A, making it an appealing option for those in need of versatile refrigeration solutions.

    Hi, I am surprised you say, the fridge defrosts by itself. I had to switch it off as the freezer wasn’t working anymore. It’s one year old and we have it on the boat. Please advise

      We are also having this issue. The freezer temperature was around 36, when set to -04degrees. We saw some ice on the fan in back, so we defrosted and turned on again, but it does not. seem to be getting cold enough. It worked seamlessly for exactly 1 year. Any trouble shooting advice, or warranty recommendations.

      I also switched the freezer option on both drawers but no ice cubes were possible to be produced. Fridge is working but freezer isn’t. Is it a gaz issue?

      @@nrupp9608 we are very sorry to hear of the trouble. We recommend contacting the manufacturer for resolution as we’ve chosen to drop this line of products as it doesn’t meet our expectations.

    for 24VDC connection at a distance of 15 feet from the battery, what size (AWG) cables are required?

    • @rackupgo
      @rackupgo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      At a distance of 15 feet and a 24VDC supply we would recommend using 14AWG wire based on the rated 4A current consumption and staying within a 3% voltage drop.

      @@rackupgo thanks. someone was saying I would need 8AWG which seemed overkill. I have some extra 12 lying around so I will go with that.

    Are they sold in the USA?

      @@laurocosta they are, from different dealers. We’ve chosen to drop the Vitrifrigo line of products as they did not meet our expectations. After additional testing, an equivalent to this fridge that does meet our high standards is the Isotherm Drawer 160: rackupgo.com/products/isotherm-drawer-160-5-5-cu-ft
