The reason the piglin attacked him even though he was he wearing gold, it was because pigskins will attack if you mine a gold near them. Edit: I’m shocked that some of you don’t know that btw

Yes, if you shift on soul sand you will catch fire I learnt this the hard way it’s because soul sand has one pixel less than a dirt block or any full block
Well it doesn’t matter if you shift, just if you stand on the edge of the block
Yeah, your hitbox is slightly inside the block so being outside of it's edge at all has it inside the lava.

The guy catching on fire in the end portal room isn't weird at all. Souls sand is shorter than any other block so if he stepped far enough yo be over the lava, his feet would be in the lava and he'd catch fire.

The bits of fire popping up from the lava don’t really set players on fire.

If you’re wondering why one of the diamonds look weird at 5:58 it’s because he’s playing a modded version with tinkers construct tools that’ll mine a 3 by 3 square. The tool is a sledge hammer. The diamonds look that way because they are dense diamonds and will drop 3 from it instead of 1. They are extremely rare.

Some of those are rather misunderstanding or player error rather than bad luck :p
Piglin didn't glitch through the wall for example, his hitbox was in the block before placing it so the block could never finish the wall and because of the spamming it kept looking like it did. In a way the block texture glitched through the piglin :p After the first block disappeared the smarter option would've been to turn and bolt because you already lost that chokepoint from that moment. You can always try again further down.
Flying headfirst into the ground after an elytra escape because you panicked isn't bad luck but bad reflex.
Gold boots will help you walk around them but if you steal the piglins gold they still kill you regardless, the whole reason they won't fight you with gold boots is cus they love gold why would you steal it from them while in LoS :p
That's just what I can see off the bat in the first 5 minutes.

Some of these are examples of bad nether portal placements (mobs on other side). Literally never have your nether portal in an area mobs can enter. The only exception to that is if you want the mobs to enter.

at 8:23 soul sand isn't considered a full block so if you walk to the edge of the block even when crouching it will set you on fire

Even if you're wearing gold boots, if you mine the gold or loot a chest in front of them they will attack. PS: it doesn't have to be their chest, any chest including your own looted in their range sets off piglins.

There's blocks with tags for piglin protection, which nether gold ore does have.
18:60, that actually isn't a totem of undying. It's an idol that is used in the modpack "Vault Hunters". It gives buffs to the player when held, doesn't prevent death.

Making a fence gates fence around the nether portal is standard practice for me. It keeps mobs away from wandering into the nether and also protects me from piglins and zombie pigs entering the overworld (even hoglins happened to come through 😂)
3:39 I have seen this mistake many times. So let me repeat myself: piglins don’t go through your portal. There is a low chance [ specifically 40⁄424 (~9.43%) of a chance ] for a piglin to spawn on an obsidian block. They get into the overworld because they spawn on the obsidian, not because they walked through the nether portal.
To the people who have read this comment, now you know not to make this mistake again :)
1:25 here's what happened:
The skeleton shot an arrow into the wall he made, and when he dug it up the arrow falls and hits him, killing him. You can see it happen if you look very closely.

I remember once i was in a cave with a hell lot of mobs and i literally was fighting for my life, low on food, hearts and everything. All i had was my bed that i set the respawn point at but my biggest mistake? Setting the spawn in the open. A creeper came behind me and for some reason even though i was holding my shield up all the time, it blew up, killed me and destroyed my bed. Luckily i got back most of my stuff so no worries 😅

This is why I build around my Nether Portals, mine is in my basement surrounded by stone walls and iron doors, same as on the other side of the portal. If it can't work a button, it can't go through.
The badlands sand drop looks familiar 😅 except it was before the caves and cliffs update and it was a ravine. And all my stuff despawned before I could get back to it.

I understand what happened at 1:20, the skeleton's arrow landed on the nether brick, and when he destroyed it, the arrow moved forward, and that's a bug that I tried to find out if it works.
