I'm starting to focus on higher timeframe ideas, mostly breakouts and breakdowns from key technical levels, and adding to the winners like Jack was saying and it's been paying off. Maximizing/pressing winners, and cutting losing trades off fast is a good best practice I believe. Your higher time frame trade idea is either going to work or it isn't, but if does start to work in your favor and you keep adding at the right times you can make a lot of PnL. A lot if institutional and big money players will only trade off the longer timeframes, so it makes sense to trade with the bigger players when they start to enter the market.

Regarding what he said about losing you have definitely made a mistake even if it's minuscule. However, you should stick to your process and not make any changes until you have a large sample of that mistake. Changing things after every trade can be problematic and it's something I dealt with for a period. This is for anyone who may need the advice.
Awesome video Alex! I've been out of the loop for a while (not fully, but in terms of studying, absolutely) and this discussion refreshed my memory on why I took interest in trading in the first place, and why I started following these guys over the years.
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree I'd suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following his advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets,Up 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

Lol yeah its very easy to manipulate penny stocks especially when you have thousands of traders follow you 😉 Of course YOU AND YOUR SMALLER GROUP CAN ALWAYS BE SUCCESSFUL *as long as its at the expense of the larger group* Take a penny stock from 10 cents to .15 cents coordinate everyone to BUY and move that stock to the top of every insider gurus and affiliates "watch lists" and Itll jump to .20 or .25 cents then have your insider group SHORT IT 😂 and could probably do this once or twice a week under the radar without it being suspicious. I just feel like they use their coordinated groups to pump more volume into a penny stock to help them short it and take their profits. Have them all start with $2500 $5000 dollars *something realistic and attainable* and use their trading strategies & document it and independently verify it for at least a year or two......then we can see if their full of shit or not 💯

Great stuff man just want to say you do some amazing stuff for the trading community. Been struggling lately. Need to have better setups or build on playbook just frustrated lately trying to avoid losses knowing that's just part of the game. Need to work on that prosses over profits.
I'm confused on jack mentioning the taxes in the context relating to losses stacking up as well.. Isn't there ways to structure your trading as a business where those losses are business expenses? They should be. It's a probability based business and those losses are 100% part of the natural expenses of being exposed to potential profitability on any trading system. Just because you as a business pay rent on your building or buy goods, pay for employees etc that doesn't guarantee profits. Trading is no different in that sense.
You have to analyze your losing trades. You will find the areas where you made minor mistakes then you can decide if you need to make adjustments to your strategy because the market is ever changing.
I relate to the being a no body comment. I love that approach. I'm a 1st red day trader from the hudie playbook. If anyone else does this reach out. I've not figured it out yet

Daytrading is the only way to go. Get in n out over n over n over....holding only fluctuates your account at the whim of the market...I'm usually all cash every night. Dont forget that options clear overnight n stocks take 2 nights. Always use only a small portion of your account to trade. Good luck.

I think when you're losing, you sell making the loss stop and when you are winning, you stay in and increase the gain outweighing the loss. So the loss stops fast, but the wins are longer and bigger. So even if they have 50% they stay in longer with wins.
