God doesn't care how many were saved by the gospel because of you. He cares if you were indeed saved by the gospel, that the gospel truly changed you. That is what we need to remember. The son of perdition is more concerned with helping the poor so he can stick his hand in the bag. The child of God must be like Christ Jesus and remember the greatest gift of the Holy Spirit is to prepare you personally to die to your flesh just like Christ. Do not be deceived and think you can help others by spreading the gospel without first laying the foundation of Christ Jesus in your own lives, the first principles of Christ, the repentance of dead works and faith toward God...(Heb 6:1-2).
No, no, no. God of course cares about the going forth of the gospel. "How beautiful are the feet of them who carry the good news" (Isaiah 52:7). The Lord Jesus is also concerned for the poor, so concerned that he says "in as much as you have done it to the least of my brethren, you have done it to me." You cannot even separate Christ from the poor. It is they "who have the Gospel preached to them," (Matthew 11:5); theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Luke 6:20). St Paul says, "The only things they asked is that we continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along" (Galatians 2:10). The "child of God" cannot "be like Christ Jesus" unlike he is an adult son (Greek "huios" son or descendent [Strong's 5207], signifying legal right vs "technon" little chid). "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God; these are the sons (huioi) of God" (Romans 8:14). The disciple "when he is fully trained will be like the teacher" (Luke 6:40). The verse you quoted, Hebrews 6:1 says "NOT laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and faith toward God" but to move on "toward maturity." As for the gifts of the Spirit, you are again misunderstanding. The Holy Spirit and its nine supernatural manifestations (1st Cor. 12) are given for the edification of the Church. They have not ceased as many Reformed leaders teach or assume. Ravi was one of them. To say that the Spirit comes to bring mortification, as you put it "to die to your flesh just like Christ" is not accurate. Pentecost is a leavened feast, unlike Passover. The prophecy of Joel stated that the Spirit would be pouted out "upon all flesh" (Acts 2:17). Mortification comes along with identification. It is our present reality "in Christ." For this reason Paul says to "reckon yourselves dead to sin but alive to God..." (Romans 6:11). The reality of death to self is achieved upon observance of the third required Feast, Tabernacles, which corresponds to the most Holy Place in the temple. Entrance is through the torn veil. (Matthew 27:51), but there is no back door. The believer must pass the altar, the candlestick, the showbread etc. Please pray on these things, that you may edify God's people in the truth of the Holy Christian Faith. You are able.
We need to talk about it also, because many of us were wrong about him. How do we learn discernment, if we don't talk about such things. I hurt also, for Ravi's family, who clearly did not see this coming. People leave the faith over things like this, and we can't let that happen, but staying silent only keeps the sin from being dealt with.
To your point, I find myself rewatching his videos and rereading his articles. I find places where it should have been clear that he has a complex, he did a lot of self praising......when I taught here and when I did this. I imagine what must have been going through his mind, did he deceive even himself to start believing his own lies.

Was there any record of any of these accusations presented to anybody while Ravi was alive. If not why did they not come out then. Why did they pick a time such as now after so many months since his passing away.
There is a record of him paying a married woman in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement. Her accusations came out before his death. He claimed it was extortion. Apparently not. 😢

It’s a sad situation. One thing that really upsets me is that people are more concerned about his family more than the victims. The victims experienced so much trauma. Not saying we shouldn’t pray for his family but the victims have a lot more pain. And you made another great point pastor! A lot of Protestant call out the Catholic Church when it comes to abuse but not realizing that there are abuses and scandals in the Protestant churches that needs to be addressed. Pastor this was good! Thank you!!
@@easttexan2933 that’s exceedingly insensitive. You don’t know if the women were abuse victims, and seeing a body part would be very traumatic. Anything against ones will is traumatic. That’s like saying a man can’t rape his wife, because they’re married. If it is unwanted contact or exposure, that’s harmful to a persons psyche.
I had a little laugh when you said you aren't "an emotional person" because your facial expression or tone of voice did not change one bit throughout this video!! Lol! As to Ravi's behaviour, many of we women who lived through the 60's have learned that we cannot really trust any man when it comes to sexual impropriety. Having that in the back of one's mind should drive us TO Jesus, not away from Him; because He is the ONLY male figure we can trust completely.
I always watched Chelsi Bedell + Barry Scarborough + Tim Henderson (so called OSAS) etc & Colton Seeking Wisdom Ministry + Paul Washer + John Piper, etc (so called Lordship Salvation). At first I was confused with the two very opposing ground from them & my heart can't accept 100% either one of them. Now I get it, the middle point where my conviction stand solidly: I believe 100% that Salvation is only by believe in Jesus Christ, but that makes me live my life proactively strive hard with all might & power to get rid of the sin & stay away from it, run from it, I took it really seriously, really passionately do whatever it takes not to go back of my wicked way of life. I take extreme measure that it look like I do that because my life & salvation depends on it, but no, not because I fear of not be saved, but the real reason is because the blooming love for the precious Holy Spirit take effect that makes me really really really don't want to hurt & grieve Him anymore, because the idea of grieving Him is now become so painful & devastating for myself. The love for God + the strength form the Holy Spirit enables us to live righteously, not because fear of not saved. that's the way I look at it now. So, even if the OSAS is true, I felt sick & don't have a heart in dwelling & emphasizing everyday in idea of: "you could do whatever you want, and still get saved" The idea & thoughts of that mindset be encouraged over and over again really make me so so uncomfortable because that's potentially encouraged some people to commit many action & life choices that can grieve Him and or hurt others. The idea of "you could do whatever you want, and still get saved" shouldn't be the FOCUS point anymore of living your life IF you REALLY LOVE & believe in GOD. Unfortunately I found out most 'ministries' or believers give unproportional exposure of this point so that there might be lots of wicked perverse heart people that would be encouraged in focusing & emphasize in the point of "Live your life whatever you like, as you want to, you can still love & enjoy this world, you just believe in Jesus, you are secured, the end" Don't get me wrong, I don't believe even the most righteous believer died in perfection like Jesus and worthy of heaven. No, I don't believe that. But by encouraging solely on ONLY OSAS everytime is really dangerous, by this mindset you can lead some people to get that everything is about you & what pleasing you, you live easy & get to heaven, not about God & what is pleasing Him by striving wholeheartedly to pursue righteousness. If that's true, most of the scriptures don't need to exist, because the whole point is just to believe, you are saved, The End. The point is do you REALLY believe?? If you really believe in Jesus & what He has done for you, it's impossible NOT to fall in Love with Him & strive as hard as you can to return the favor (even if we know it's impossible) and the idea of 'we can do whatever and we still be saved' wouldn't dare to cross your mind or heart. In the end everyone would end their journey in this world in imperfect condition, but only God knows exactly who REALLY BELIEVE in Jesus or just 'play' it in their mind, it will manifested in the way you think, behave, and decision you make, and what things you prioritize in this life. Only GOD can judge whether a believer: 1. Ends this earthly life WHILE striving hard to please HIM avoiding sin & pursue righteousness becaus they believes in Jesus & so moved by what He has done.. OR 2. Ends this earthly life WHILE serving themselves & their flesh, deliberately indulge in sin, live freely without any burden & fear whatsoever 'believing' they're Saved & sealed forever because they convince themselves in the brain that Jesus already paid it all
OSAS is true but that doesn't mean that we we can do what we want and sin all we want because we have the Holy Spirit convicting us and it's really hard grieving the Holy Spirit, plus we will be at the Judgment Seat of Christ and what we did here on earth will be judged accordingly. Are we going to earn or lose rewards in heaven.God knows our heart so he is the only one who can judge fairly. When I listen to other preachers I only get the good points that are biblical and leave the other things I don't think is right and leave them to God. We learn as we go. As a teenager I learned that when we are sinning it is because we are still in the flesh so we have to yield to the Holy Spirit and we will sin less. The Apostle Paul also experienced doing things he didn't like.
I don't think OSAS is saying you can do whatever you want and be saved. If you are truly saved you can't live like that. Like you stated, we obey God because we love him, not because we're afraid and trying to work our way into heaven. When we are saved we have the Holy Spirit to convict us. We are also in the process of sanctification. I have attended a church before where they preached you had to repent of your sins everyday otherwise you could lose your salvation. The result was people fell away, stopped attending, and returned to seriously sinful lifestyles because too heavy a burden had been placed on them: trying to save themselves. They realized they could not be perfect enough to enter heaven, so they gave up. Very sad! Jesus paid the penalty for us on the cross because he knew that we could not be justified by the law. We fail again and again. Out of our live for Him and what he has done, we strive to obey and lead Holy lives. It is not our righteousness that gets us into heaven, but the righteousness of Jesus Christ, the ONLY sinless man. OSAS is misunderstood, and losing salvation camp is heartbreaking
Stupidity even on the part of ravi family, As a Christian counsellor i counselled many youth and old people after all the counselling I just conclude briefly ,if a person continues doing masturbation or involved in extra marital activities appropriated to Ravi , the family life collapses first because the spirit involved there is Jezebel it will definitely leads to divorce in a marriage, secondly ministry would be wound up because God said to Adam to take dominion on the planet and God brought woman to help him.take that reverse if Adam is engaged in illicit activities with woman the dominion or the ministry he was doing will windup and result he is a failure in life. If we see Ravi Zachariah the above said things are not there,Ravi has beautiful marriage working, and his ministry is even powerful till the end. Wake up people don’t do mud slinging.
This is like the Bill Cosby dilemma. He was a very influential and respected comedian and many comedians site him as an inspiration.......but (as we know) he did some things.
Along with Matthew 7:1, that's one of the verses that has been poorly and erroneously applied to this situation. I wonder if those who are incorrectly using these verses would do so if they were one of the women who was victimized? Or if they were related to them? Or if they were his wife? Or if they were members of the organization that bears his name? What Ravi Zacharias did was predatorial. The independent investigators and RZIM's board of directors have said as much. I guess that makes them the chief stone throwers. He also publicly preached one thing while deceitfully living another. "Let not many of you become teachers. For we know that WE WHO TEACH WILL BE JUDGED WITH GREATER STRICTNESS (James 3:1)." It's ironic that you and others use the anti-stone throwing verse. WHO IS A GREATER STONE THROWER THAN A TEACHER WHO PUBLICLY TELLS HIS HEARERS "DON'T DO "X SIN"" WHILE INDULGING IN AND COVERING UP THAT SAME SIN AGAINST GOD AND OTHERS ---- AS RAVI ZACHARIAS DID FOR SEVERAL YEARS?!?! Jesus said the Pharisees bound heavy burdens on others that they themselves wouldn't lift with a finger because they preached what they did not practice. All the while arrogantly counting themselves better than obvious "sinners" (Matthew 23:3-5, Luke 18:9-14, 1 Timothy 5:24, Luke 7:36-50)). Sound familiar? The same Jesus who said "Judge not..." and "let he the first without sin..." also said, "Do not JUDGE by appearances but JUDGE with right JUDGMENT (John 7:24)." He also said, "Thus, you will know them by their fruits..." Christians are supposed to have SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT and expose the unfruitful works of darkness. Christians are also commanded to speak the truth in love to one another. The "Hear no evil. See no evil. Speak no evil" mentality is partly how brothers in leadership become sexually immoral, greedy, prideful and arrogant. To the detriment not only of themselves but the body of Christ (James 3:14-16). Look at the legacy Ravi Zacharias is leaving behind. One sinner destroys much good.
@@josedopwell9645 You wasted a lot of time typing, good brother. My point still stands; let it go---We each have our OWN lives to take care of. And despite what Ravi DID, the REST of us are still sinful people...Sinful people ragging on about a person who simply sinned a bit MORE than THEY in the eyes of GOD. Besides, NObody knows what may well have occured in Ravi's very LAST moment. He could very well have repented deep in his heart, in which case, he would be forgiven. NO MAN knows---One way or the other. Again---Let us move ON...Take care of our OWN lives. Nuff' said. GOD bless. Seek Wisdom.
And one more little point. Despite his crimes, he DID help a LOT of people. It appeared the Wisdom of the LORD had Guided him. Sad, yes, what he did BEHIND the camera's. But GOD, and ONLY GOD will judge him according to his TRUE heart. Be blessed. Love the LORD.
@@josedopwell9645 Look at what King David did; He not only STOLE a man's wife, and fornicated with her---He had her hus- band killed in battle...And yet, David was still forgiven because he repented. We are not as smart as we think we are. The LORD GOD has ALL things covered. Amen, and...AMEN!!
@@raygsbrelcik5578 David repented...but what about Ravi....denied to the end. Who will defend the victims and especially one who had lost everything. His was not just sexual misconduct alone....but a number of other things.....false academic claims, cunning image-building, embezzlement of donor's funds, investments in questionable businesses, buying apartment in redlight area in Thailand and lewd communication with several women. We don't need to judge the man but we must fight for justice to the victims. There should be no more minitry bearing Ravi's name.
Sin is (really!!!) ugly, whoever does it! We need to keep rejecting it (and first in our own lives..). And we need to keep standing for the Truth (even when it hurts), because it is the Truth that will set us free!!! Yes, I am very (!!!) sad about what Ravi Z. did. I can only imagine how difficult it may be for family and colleagues. And I am concerned about people who are interested in Christ and would reject Christ altogether because of what happened. Why would I be sad? Because Jesus REALLY changed my life and gives Life. So whatever others do, I pray I'll myself keep standing for the Truth! God is really good!!!

The victims are more than human beings and no, we don't have any platform - please- stop being so concerned about sexual predators and start caring for those whose lives have been destroyed! 'Harm' doesn't begin to describe how the lives of victims have been destroyed by these individuals! what you fail to recognize is that they didn't say things that were truthful - these are skilled individuals who know how to USE and MANIPULATE what is true to their advantage - this is so disgraceful - Until you deal with the broken lives, preaching as to who God is, is ridiculous - and praying is not what we need - we need you to step up and speak up and start being men instead of cowards!
Well said, I do agree with you and I am glad you said what you said. I need to talk about it because he had such an influence on me. In talking we find healing, it also is therapeutic. I also think you were correct in your assessment of history and childhood years. I feel what his dad said to him that he would bring shame on the family affected him deeply and traumatised him. I feel very bad for the ladies involved I have suffered sexual abuse and harassment not from my growing up years but as a young teenage woman so I know a little of how they feel.
I was concerned about Ravi’s ecumenical leanings, his attending a Mormon temple and his pandering to these Mormons. So I had lost interest in his ministry a while ago. Finding out about him flashing women and touching them was very surprising. I had heard about another allegation before the ones brought by the ladies who worked at the massage parlor he owned. That was sad to hear about.

@@thewill968 If you would allow me to retort. We don't know the state of Ravi's marriage at the end. We only know the PR spin RZIM put on his marriage. In your counseling, surely you have met couples who have toxic relationships but appear like a healthy, loving couple to the outside world. According to an article on Julie Roy's website, Ravi confessed to Lori Ann Thompson that "Zacharias divulged that his marriage was 'more of a business partnership's and that 'he was profoundly alone.'. Also, it is not unheard of for a widow who thought they were in a great marriage to find out after their spouse's death that they were living a double life which included adultery. And as far as RZIM being powerful at the end of Ravi's life. What does it say that RZIM ministry is in an absolute crisis less than a year after his death. It didn't even last a year. Also, respected former RZIM staff members who worked under Ravi stated that they were not happy with the way the RZIM board was run before and after his death. They have accused RZIM of running a secretive and non-transparent board. And many former staff members have expressed that while Ravi was alive, they were deeply upset with the way RZIM board and executives handled his academic fraud credentials crisis and the Lori Ann Thompson sexting scandal. And this happened when he was alive. @Siddiq Mohammed He should have come clean from false beliefs when it mattered. He committed adultery in the spirit before he committed it in the flesh. This should have been evident to those who profess the Holy Christian faith. We are not saved by "world view" or conservative morals. That was my point.

Thank you for addressing this so tactfully. Your reasons for doing so makes complete sense. Some Christian friends are saying things like, " we can't judge him or he's gone already, he can't defend himself." If his own ministry organization investigated and feels it's true and his own daughter does also, then I think it's safe to assume that it is. I remember the account in scripture where John the Baptist rebukes the pharisees and sadducees for showing up to get baptized without repentance and for not living a life that demonstrated that repentance. Repentance postures us to humility before men and God our Father. Without it, it's a life of hypocrisy. The sheep know this and that is why we talk about it. Sin is sin and we need to acknowledge it when it happens. Because he didn't repent, now his family has to deal with the aftermath. If he had dealt with it before he died so they could have a response or even help them deal with it, they wouldn't be dealing with his death in humiliation. I feel bad for everyone involved, but mostly towards the cause of Christ. This does affect the name of Christ.
Well said. Some seem more concerned with salvaging RZ's reputation than with how the world attributes the wrong behavior and scandals of professed believers to Jesus Christ. "On account of you the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles."
@@josedopwell9645 I can't imagine anything more displaced than worrying about a person's reputation when they didn't guard it for themselves. People are quick to toss the names of the people who failed in scripture as normal weak God fearers but what of those who were victorious? Did they not struggle? Let's raise the bar and emulate the Victors instead! I need to know its possible to serve Christ by "putting off the old man, and putting on the new!" by God's grace...🙏
@@celinahenderson5600 I agree 100 %. One of the problems with referring to the failings of Old Testament heroes of faith is that the standard is raised in the New Testament. BORN ANEW BELIEVERS HAVE THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT. By God's grace we have power over sin because Jesus already overcame the world by his perfect life and sacrifice, and resurrection from the dead. In Matthew 5 Jesus repeats a few times, "You have heard from the men of old...BUT I SAY." The standard is being raised but the help (and the Helper, i.e. the Holy Spirit) is also sooo much greater. The Old Testament just proved that even the heroes of faith couldn't keep God's commandments. In fact, David broke them all in his adultery with Bathsheba. Was he any less one of God's elect? No. But Jesus's purpose for coming to earth is clearly stated by his name as described in Matthew 1:21: "He will save his people from their sins." Sin will have no dominion over us because we are not under the law but grace. The grace of God trains us to renounce irreligion and ungodliness, and instead live sober, upright and godly lives in this world (Titus 2:11-14).
Christianity is all about Christ Jesus, it is not about us or any man. Let's focus on God, let go and let God. Pray for your pastors or leaders, they are just human like us. We have to read the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to lead us to the right decisions and discernment. I hope and pray that all the people that are hurt by the scandal will not weaken their faith in God rather it will make them stronger.

Good point. If someone can just doesn’t before we hear about their dirt we can’t talk about it. I am glad you oppose that. So many Christians want to keep Ravi’s abuse in the closet. And, yes, what if his victims? Thanks for this video. I hope the Ravi scandals lead us to more safety for vulnerable people and to a more honest dialogue between skeptics and Christians. Ravi’s false credentials muddies the debate. And his Christian colleagues remained silent.
It's so sad that many Christians want to remain silent. The Bible tells us to expose the sins of leaders, and show no favoritism in doing so. I was a huge fan of Ravi, so the news has been hard for me to process, but Christians need to follow the Bible in response to this. I wanted to share these verses with you: Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure... Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. (1 Timothy 5:19-24) It's so important to base our faith on what God's Word says, not on fallen people.
@Dennis Yen Yeah, I agree with that. It's a hard thing to process emotionally, but nevertheless Christians are supposed to obey the Bible in response to this.
@Dennis Yen I'm in my early 20s and haven't been saved that long. I became a Christian in my teens, but that wasn't that long ago. This is the first time I've had something like this happen. I'm sure there will be more times, sadly. 😥 But I'll cling onto the beauty, holiness, and perfection of Christ and His Word!
@@savedbyjesus7365 Be of good cheer. You’re starting the faith in one of the most turbulent and difficult times in the modern Church era. Whatever happened to the notion of listening first, and gathering ALL the facts & evidence? There is an investigative report yet to be written and made manifest. Proverbs 18:13 He who gives an answer before he hears, It is folly and shame to him. Your perceived need to talk could be perceived as a need to play the role of a fool.
@@StephenJBedardVideos ~ RZIM does not have the final report either. There is a sound reason why God included Pr. 18:13 in the Bible. But you & many others would rather skip the formalities and go straight to sentencing.
@@scottmac2032 yes the Board has a “final” report. Miller and Martin released one report and that’s all they will do. It’s enough. We will continue to watch the Board to see if the follow through on their pledge to the victims.
Many well known apologists have already judged Ravi’s “ apologetics ministry. “ why can’t this guy? Why can’t you or I judge him. I found he told lots of stories and mixed in a few thoughts about a relevance verse or intellectual quote and I enjoyed his speeches. Can’t say he was the greatest though. Of course that’s not the real issue is it? The real issue is Ravi led a deceitful life and abused women for sexual gratification and he failed to confess repent and be accountable.
All said and done, Ravis' behaviour actually showed the truth of Christianity, the Gospel and Christ. Let ALL men be seen as they are, fallen and corrupted, as plainly stated in God's word, and let Christ be seen as he is, Holy and Righteous. Nothing Ravi did undermined the Gospel message in any way, but rather, promoted its truth. For the Gospel and safety's sake, let all men be seen as they really are - weak, fallen and corrupted. That way, no one will look to any man, but to Christ alone - who alone is the "Author and Finisher of our faith".

Lessons for all .. lets not over speak about this when there is already an overkill of opinions/ teachings etc. We need to hear more of: How does an offender if still alive reconcile himself to God and the people he/she has offended? Can we like Zacchaeus move towards making that repentance real ?
Come on man, everybody needs our compassionate consideration , yes, but everybody speaks as if Ravi has placed himself outside the grace of God. Nobody will speak forgiveness for this man. Though he is dead, extending forgiveness to him is fundamental to everyone's healing.
He didn't wrong me. The persons that he should have sought forgiveness from were those he sexually abused. Also his wife and family. Along with those at RZIM whom he deceived for several years. Most importantly God the Father. David said "Against THEE, THEE only have l sinned, and done that which is evil in THY sight." (Psalm 51:4). Throughout scripture wrong examples were cited as a warning for and a means to instruct the current generation. Paul's letters speak very sternly against sexual immorality. "For know and recognize this: EVERY SEXUALLY IMMORAL OR IMPURE OR GREEDY PERSON, WHO IS AN IDOLATER, DOES NOT HAVE AN INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM OF THE MESSIAH AND OF GOD." (Ephesians 5:5). If Ravi Zacharias is outside the grace of God, he did it to himself. Noone put him there. Noone can speak concerning forgiveness of this man because it's not clear that he ever admitted wrongdoing or sought forgiveness for it. Once again: his responsibility.
Jose, thank you for your comment. In our world doing what is wrong always bears legal consequences. This is true here though the man has died. I as a Christian am not under law, but grace. I forgive him for God my father through Jesus has remitted my sin. I am set free from the law of sin and death. Why, because if God's holy spirit is in me, read Hebrews 10 vs 16, 17, 18. Iniquity has other interpretations, lawlessness and evil intention. If Ravi truly understands grace, and has God's spirit in him joined to his regenerated human spirit he is not under judgement by God. This is Christ's completed work. Not the blood of bulls and goats but the precious blood of Jesus. I forgive as my sin has been remitted. This is not law but grace. To be worthy of it, give it without hesitation.
@@marknewman7962 had Ravi wronged me or abused me I would forgive. But he didn’t. I have no need to forgive a dead man. The issue is did Ravi confess and repent and accept accountability for his sins?? Sadly, I don’t see any evidence.
Jesus said ," If any one looks at a woman with Lust then he has already committed adultery " . If any one can REFUTE what Ravi Zacharias claimed to be True through his discourse then kindly do it for the sake of TRUTH . I don't consider myself flawless man . I do deal with it and by the grace of God , I overcome it . Jesus be glorified through our life . Try to enhance the cause of CHRIST through our lives . If God can use King David , He can use any one who truly repents . God bless you

As a former papist, best way to describe "philosophy" => fool-sophy. So called "Christian philosophy" is an oxymoron! Holy Spirit who teaches me all things is more than capable of what philosophers are trying to achieve thru philosophy! Jesus Christ says : “I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.” (Rev. @) “When men strive together with one another, and the wife of the one draws near to deliver her husband out of the hand of him who strikes him, and puts forth her hand and takes him by the secret parts, then you shall cut off her hand. Your eye shall not pity.” (Deut. @-12)
This is motivated by money. The accusations,if serious, should have been raised when they occurred. Curious this surfaces after the man’s death when he can no longer face his accusers. I think it’s s bunch of bullshit but the beauty of it is it exposes the hypocrisy of Christians so quick to condemn. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone
@Sean much of the allegations have been known for years. Some did not disclose until they were asked (Miller and Martin report) and some came forward after hearing he died knowing it was safe for them to do so. The issue isn’t the motivations. Don’t accuse victims of that. The issue is Ravis deceit and abuse of others. Exposing it should not be mistaken as “casting stones.”
Judge ye not, lest ye be judged. If u are without sin, then u have the right to cast the first stone. What sadistic thrill do y'all perceive, achieve and receive, by doing a postmortem on his past life, not knowing God can deal the same with you all self righteous hypocrites. Allow his soul to rest in peace. The work that he has achieved defending Christ, most of y'all can never do, nor have the guts to do.

Caution must be had to the fact that you ae relying on a mere report. The report is not evidence. It is the findings of a body hired to investigate. This has to go before a trier fact to verify the truth or the falsity of the statements before it can be admitted as evidence.. The accused is dead. The opportunity for him to know the charge against him and his right to defend himself were not overlooked. They were denied. I shall not go further than this. I have done so in the nature of comments in other videos. Please be cautious. You are dealing with one side of the story of a man who was never taken to ask while alive and hastily being damned after he has been buried. This is not only unethical. It is un Christian.
Wake up! Ravi was confronted numerous times over his life - he denied, denied, denied, denied to his last breath - what? You think the investigation s made up stuff to tickle the ears of someone looking for dirt - TZIM always denied, denied, denied! CHRISTIANS do not COVER the crimes of anyone - EXPOSE them is our COMMANDMENT - If you had killed 10 people and buried them under your house, and after you died, those bodies were found, ..... we should not deal with the crimes that were committed because your dead???? Not dealing with the monster that Ravi was and the lives he forever ruined is not human let alone not ethical and you are no Christian! Take your foolishness elsewhere because you have no idea of what you're talking about - if it's you, your mother, sister, daughter, granddaughter........ ah yes....... we continue to look the other way!
@Ariel. What a silly argument-“the report is not evidence” of course it is. And it is very damning. Furthermore Ravi led a life of deceit and abuse of others and you don’t need the Miller and Martin report to know that.
I am Muslim. We are human beings. There is saying from our Prophet peace be upon him that says, if there are two, man and woman, then there will be a third, Satan. Of course this is talking about people not related to each other. Christianity have left tradition and what you have now is the result of that. Do you think Jesus or any of his disciples will be staying unrelated opposite sex behind curtains? This will continue to happen till the cause is dealt with. Ravi was not the first and he will not be the last.
If you love Jesus so much?....why don't you focus on teaching about Jesus. Who elected you to become analyst, judge and jury vs. RAVI? It's not your role to take it upon yourself to police the preachers and clean up the preacher profession. What would Jesus want in this situation? I think we already know. Knowing the amount of bigotry and bias there is in the media towards Christians, I was very skeptical about the allegations when they first came out. I was also hesitant to investigate because he is not here to defend himself. Finally, I am aware of my own failings in life and I didn't want to throw stones at others. However last night I read the in depth articles and videos from on his scandal. I am convinced that he was not just guilty, but he was a predator who groomed his victims. He was not simply a pastor who gave into sexual temptation, but a narcissist who preyed on the weaknesses of others with little regard towards them. In the end he had multiple opportunities to come clean, but instead was far more concerned with his own reputation. What is most disturbing is that he carefully chose women who had been sexually abused as children, set himself up as a loving father figure, then preyed on them sexually. This was not a pastor who was caught soliciting an undercover cop, this was way way way more serious. He was not someone who simply 'Fell off the Wagon', he was someone who had been living a duplicitous double life for years, perhaps decades. After reading the investigation, I am convinced the God gave him multiple opportunities to come clean and repent, but he choose to cover them up and attack his victims. I hate the cancel culture, I hate attacking people after they are gone, but in this case, it is deserved.
@@JeffSmith-rz2er A well- considered response. I am not privy to the facts of his actual predatory behavior, but if it's true, that is very depressing. As you say, to have a girlfriend on the side would have been bad enough, but wow! If he forced himself on victims, that's very very awful.
Branch Of The Remnant Of God, you're 100% correct. What Ravi Zacharias needs is for believers in Christ to ignore what he did. Let's just forget it. Move along folks. Nothing more to see. Although I do vaguely recall James writing that those who teach will be judged with greater strictness (James 3:1). I guess we should conveniently forget that he hid the fact that he sexually abused women over the course of several years. While hiding it from his wife, family and members of RZIM. No one has to assassinate his character. It seems he handled that well enough himself. Shouldn't our sympathy be directed towards those he abused as well as those he deceived? It's moments like these when the world says, "Christians are such hypocrites. They don't practice what they preach!" "On account of you the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles."
@@josedopwell9645 "Sin will happen, but woe to he who would scandalize one of these my little ones".
The verse you quoted, Hebrews 6:1 says "NOT laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and faith toward God" but to move on "toward maturity."
As for the gifts of the Spirit, you are again misunderstanding.
My faith has never been stronger because my faith isn't dependent on a man 🤷♂️

It’s a sad situation. One thing that really upsets me is that people are more concerned about his family more than the victims. The victims experienced so much trauma. Not saying we shouldn’t pray for his family but the victims have a lot more pain.

Exactly! The victims needs more sympathy and mostly justice
We are all sinners saved by grace.
True
I always watched Chelsi Bedell + Barry Scarborough + Tim Henderson (so called OSAS) etc & Colton Seeking Wisdom Ministry + Paul Washer + John Piper, etc (so called Lordship Salvation).
At first I was confused with the two very opposing ground from them & my heart can't accept 100% either one of them.
Now I get it, the middle point where my conviction stand solidly:
I believe 100% that Salvation is only by believe in Jesus Christ, but that makes me live my life proactively strive hard with all might & power to get rid of the sin & stay away from it, run from it, I took it really seriously, really passionately do whatever it takes not to go back of my wicked way of life.
So, even if the OSAS is true, I felt sick & don't have a heart in dwelling & emphasizing everyday in idea of: "you could do whatever you want, and still get saved"
The idea & thoughts of that mindset be encouraged over and over again really make me so so uncomfortable because that's potentially encouraged some people to commit many action & life choices that can grieve Him and or hurt others.
The idea of "you could do whatever you want, and still get saved" shouldn't be the FOCUS point anymore of living your life IF you REALLY LOVE & believe in GOD.
Unfortunately I found out most 'ministries' or believers give unproportional exposure of this point so that there might be lots of wicked perverse heart people that would be encouraged in focusing & emphasize in the point of "Live your life whatever you like, as you want to, you can still love & enjoy this world, you just believe in Jesus, you are secured, the end"
Don't get me wrong, I don't believe even the most righteous believer died in perfection like Jesus and worthy of heaven.
Only GOD can judge whether a believer:
1. Ends this earthly life WHILE striving hard to please HIM avoiding sin & pursue righteousness becaus they believes in Jesus & so moved by what He has done.. OR
I also watched all of those channels. TH-cam can drive us crazy lol. I read my bible now instead

This is like the Bill Cosby dilemma. He was a very influential and respected comedian and many comedians site him as an inspiration.......but (as we know) he did some things.
I think he has gone and we should leave all this. Let God be the judge.
"He who is without sin...let him cast the first stone." The man's
in GOD'S hand---Time to let this go.
@@josedopwell9645 You wasted a lot of time typing, good

perhaps this is a fitting closure to 2020, a year in which i firmly believe god has been 'undoing church'... as in, delivering us from the systems we have been a part of, tolerated, embraced and supported and championed even. jesus is lord. not pastors or priests, not ministry leaders, not mr zacharias. and holy spirit is our life. not any system, even 'the church'.

@Dennis Yen i didn't heard him saying he got a degree at any Universities you've mentioned
what i recall he was stating that attended there to some lectures
i think there's no point at all that any person claims a degree he didn't got
since it's easily discovered
he stated once that he had received messages of someone who declared that he will devote his life to bring Ravi down
@Dennis Yen iam not Dr , however i live in third world country and work in scientific research related work

this go for many situation as well
i think if he had earned honorary doctorate it would be lawful for him to put Dr before his name
or what's the point that the university gave him this "Honorary" doctorate???
i meant no justification of this matter but stating other point of view
what is concerning is the late accusations since the victims (as far as we know) declared what we recognized as unlawful pattern in Ravi misconduct
if it's true ,then he was who i would call Rasputin of the West

I wanted to share these verses with you:
Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
(1 Timothy 5:19-24)
It's so important to base our faith on what God's Word says, not on fallen people.
The church is under attack in so many ways and it’s going to get worse, but take heart because if you stick it out you’ll be blessed in ways that I cannot begin to explain. Jesus and the apostles warned us of this so you’re gonna see the living word of God on action and real time. 🙌🏻

So why is it you need to talk about it again?
Thanks for being honest and up-front about this. They'll know we're Christians by our love, and that love MUST include love for the downtrodden and oppressed. I'm not a Ravi basher, but we can no longer in conscience say that he was a great man of God, or anything remotely like that. Thank you for not trying to make him out as a "King David" figure ("man after God's own heart") as one Christian pastor has tried to do.
I agree we all need to clean our houses. I'm Roman Catholic, and we've still got a lot of crap to deal with--we're not just pulling skeletons out of our closets, we're pulling skeletons out of our skeletons. The McCarrick report was a decent start, but we must keep hunting down abusers and show no lenience to clergy who abuse their trust.
I really think you are talking rubbish when you describe him as "quite a good speaker". He was absolutely brilliant. Perhaps you think you are more intelligent? These accusations are still to be investigated and confirmed. If you have no interest in attacking Ravi and his family, why not shut up and wait for the outcome. For goodness sake, have respect for his dear wife, who shared his life for so many years and must know him better than anyone. @@patriciakinloch9896 It's not gossip. His own ministry, which has his DAUGHTER as CEO, has stated that the allegations are credible. There's no more fudging that's possible at this point. Pray yes. After reporting to police.
It went on for a long time.
Even RZIM, which initially claimed he was innocent and dismissed the allegations, now admits the evidence is there.
And you can judge his apologetics?

We need to hear more of:
How does an offender if still alive reconcile himself to God and the people he/she has offended?
Can we like Zacchaeus move towards making that repentance real ?
There needs to be more than repentance,, there needs to be reparations made to the victims!

@@gracelatour3441 well stated.
People do like to sturr up the mud, dont they?
You know the difference between mud and truth? One is dirty and one cleans.
That’s the problem...we don’t need to talk about him. He isn’t here to defend himself.
It's not healthy to act holier than thou. Thank you
Did you watch the video? I do teach the Bible. I also believe in discipleship, which includes warning Christians of dangers. Ravi needed someone like that.

You mean lie? The investigation shows he is guilty. What is there to ‘defend’? Years ago he paid off a woman whom he sent nasty emails to.
@@rachellydy3367 Sorry I have not known about his bad lifestyle just learning about all of this really thought he was a respectable person . God help us all I pray healings for those women.
@@tinamoran3957 please consider researching or googling Ravi and you will discover he has deceived and abused others for years all the while being protected from the consequences by his own Board.
Angel Stephen, I can see you are jealous about Ravi Zacharias , go and do something constructive . Stop gossiping.
@Kriben. I see you comment on this topic on many Facebook and TH-cam channels. You continue to reject the truth of what Ravi did, you insult the victims and you ridicule people who post videos like this guy. His assessment is truthful. You reject the truth.
@@kurtanderson5023 This is not truth, it's allegations and assumptions. Ravi's family and some staff at RZIM and millions of believers also don't believe this allegations. What proof do you have ? Was this allegations proven to be true like Bill Clinton and Monica lewinskys sex scandal.
@Susan Liang Susan, when you say truth, do you have authentic proof of these allegations for anyone to believe you.
@@kribengovender7318 who on the current RZIM STAFF believes these are allegations? NOBODY. They all acknowledge what Ravi did. Not one person on his staff or Senior Leadership says he is innocent. Those that actually pay attention to the facts and the long history of Ravi’s deception know the truth. Some people like you simply don’t want to acknowledge the truth. It’s sad you let yourself be continually deceived. I really encourage you to do some real research on Ravi’s life. You cannot honestly write that Ravi’s family does not believe the investigation because Sarah is the CEO of the Board that released the report. Naomi has not released any statement so you don’t know what she thinks.
I’m sure God forgive him as he for gave you Why are people still trying to tear him down after he’s passed on judge not least you’ll be judged it is a shame for you to do such things

A well- considered response.
They don't practice what they preach!"
"On account of you the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles."
