Yea, well, when you come to our country don't walk the Ulster way or the fells and mountainside. What a lot of nonsense. It grows back very quickly. I've lived in Ireland, Northern Ireland & Scotland all my life and never has anyone said this nonsense or moaned about moss not growing back.
No offence to Hrafna but it grows back rather quickly, I know this as hiking is what we do! Hiking trails there one year are gone the next because? Yep, because they've over grown! This is one idiotic law I totally disagree with.

I've been to Iceland! Mostly in Husavik. It was amazing and WEIRD! I'm from Ireland. We have nothing like this here! It was in July so it was 24 hour daylight! I walked around a giant crater! I saw some tar pits and it smelled like rotten egg! I was in a cave with warm water. A CAVE! We went to a giant waterfall that was so big, there was a rainbow inside! We went to these natural baths that had warm water, heated by the earth. I repeat: HEATED BY THE EARTH! I got lost in Reykjavik on the last day, looking for the bus stop but it was worth it. The only problems I had was a serious lack of bars and no Guinness. :)

Went to iceland last year. Blue Lagoon and basically all of the golden circle was touristy and kinda hard to enjoy the scenery with all the tourists. More people do just the golden circle so as you travel around people become more scarce. Some of my favorite places was Dettifoss, Akureyri, and the area around Egilsstadir. Snaefellsnes was cool too because that’s where the aurora was strongest for us and we got to see the now famous mountain, Kirkjufell. Honestly ALL of Iceland is a dream fairytale land and amazing

Definitely not Blue Lagoon, there are so many local better ones. When my wife and I visited last October, we rented a camper van and did the ring road. We stayed 7 days, should have stayed 10. Highly recommend the Ring road. Icelandic hotdogs are amazing, and their donuts are sooo good (kleina). We loved all the waterfalls and hot springs (Krauma is great). The whale museum in Husavik was very cool, sadly the weather was too poor for whale watching and puffins. We will be back to Iceland for sure! Don't forget to take a horseback tour too. Honestly, there is SO much to do in Iceland, anyone wanting to go really should research a while, you won't be let down.

Nice video :) Btw, the part after 11:17 sounds just like norwegian. "Fem halv seks". Maybe make a video about other words or other things that you share with norwegians? I find it so fascinating how the Icelandic language developed, but still has some common words and numbers with especially norwegian. If I remember correctly, the first icelandic people came from Norway, so it would make sense that you still share some words. Would be cool to see a list or something with all the words that you still share.
