Another beautiful discussion, your channel is a gem. Glad I've discovered it, and shocked that your subscriber number isn't higher, I've just subscribed.
There are few things I've disagreed, one I'll highlight is the objective resolution. I think his was a lazy interpretation.
South Asian societies are religiously conservative, look at India, their issues are only recently coming to the fore, but those issues of communal hate, and violence has existed for decades, at a level far far greater than in Pakistan. Despite the so called secularism.
Issue isn't necessarily Islamic approach within the state, but the fact that Pakistan has faced constant external crises since independence, that effects governance. Domestic crises'compound the issues.
Pakistan needs to enter a period stability so the ruling classes can concentrate on dealing with issues of state, and society.
tbc, I'm an agnostic Muslim, for me Muslim is a cultural identity, and fully Secular. But, it would be stupid if I viewed issues purely from a narrow perspective, my opinions are based on the realities that exist in our region, and in Pakistan.

You did not ask about costs, how much does it cost to make films in Pakistan. Different kind of films.
Crores for adverts, but how much for films? TV films, cinema, documentaries.
It would have been nice to know, just couple of minutes, puts things in perspective.

@@jamiazad4750 that's a massive range, I doubt it applies to feature films, or films made for cinema.

Chikni chameli is bad but fast and furious wali nangi ladki is good 🤡.... Hollywood is doing this for a long time ..stop blaming this on Bollywood...

The point he is making, the films should be realistic, drama is good but melodrama is over for the time we are living in.
By the way he was mentioning the Pakistani industry so that they create something unique. Item numbers in Pakistani movies are only because Pakistani film makers are coping it from Bollywood. For a movie to be a good movie don't need to have 5 or 6 songs and an item number in it. Movies can be good without hero and heroin a romantic couple. And pointless songs in a movie can be and should be removed.

@@afnanayub good movies on Islamism and Islamists showing mirror to pakistani society on the kind of extremism and jihadism you have nurtured , anyways gets banned in Pakistan
Mujra is ok but item songs is bad. Also linking chikni chameli to Delhi rape. What about the thousands of rapes happening in Pakistan inside madarsaas?
