Rear and now front loading, now we have it!! Will you get to go across on the first passenger flight, sorry I mean sailing?? But what were the wee seabirds/ducks that scooted across behind the vessel??
Yes, I noticed those wee birds too, couldn''t tell what they are. I may well have been allowed on board today, but didn't ask as I'm not sure I should film anything when it's maybe not quite ready. Another time soon hopefully.
Yes, I'm sure the usual Utube suspects (bless them🫡) will be in line for the 'Maiden sailing' The winners are, of course, the Arran people, businesses, and visitors securing their lifeline services.
CalMac are planning on “breaking her in” so to speak in the week before her official start date. I imagine they’ll have her take over Alfred’s roster for a day or two before they switch to the new timetable.
@davetheraverovingtherock practicing? For how many years? Calmac must be run by numpties ...oh and forgot to thank them for useless dual fuel,to save the planet, then doubling the distance to be sailed.... Profiteering whilst not maintaining Ardrossan harbour. Yeh thanks for nothing
loving the music xx
Maybe I'll see her when I get back to Arran.
You will be relying on her soon. MV Alfred is away from 10-17 February 2025.

Hoping to get on the first sailing if it happens earlier than the first timetabled one.

Great to watch and love the music, thanks Dave.

Are they keeping costs down by hiring 10 year olds on the bridge?
I widny let that yin reverse a car... my god, that was not what I want to see ,a reversing flying pig
When you are battling against strong crosswinds in a high-sided vessel it takes a lot of skill. And that skipper had it in abundance.
Its fine, they were just trying things out, practising.
