Just remember the signs of the antichrist and also back up scripture with scripture. Jesus made it obvious what the antichrist looked like and the signs to come and Jesus will always give guidance when asked. So don't be afraid

My view on the end is since there is still such a strong hold of Christ on Earth and since if people start trying to guess when it is gonna happen, it will become less likly to come since it says it will happen when we least expect it, either way Christ is King, and I know I have my faith in Him and the Father in heaven and i know where I am going if I pass or if Christ Returns

Why the need for a temple? When Jesus Christ tore the veil once and for all. And that we can worship the Father anywhere in spirit and in truth. Why the need for sacrifices and offerings? When we know that Christ is the only atonement for us. His righteousness is what cleanse us and brings us to the Father. We don’t need another physical temple anywhere in Israel because the body of Christ which is His church (anyone that proclaims Him as the way, the truth, and the life) is the temple that houses God’s Holy Spirit and how God moves into this world. I am not against the Jews. I love them. And we should bring them the message that the Kingdom is here and the King is Jesus Christ who was prophesied by the prophets of antiquity and by God Himself. Therefore let us stop obsessing about the end times and focus on the Great Commission of bringing the gospel to the ends of the earth. Both to Jews and Gentiles.
For those concerned about Eschatology (study of the end times), the abomination of desolation mentioned by Jesus was in the context of the Second Temple’s desolation which happened on 70AD when the romans subjugated Judea and Israel. This was the end of the age mentioned by John in Revelations. The end of the old covenant age and the birth of the new covenant age in Christ Jesus. And it was God who destroyed the temple in Jerusalem through the romans like He did with the first temple through the Babylonians. If you don’t believe me, at least believe Jesus Christ by looking into these verses in the Bible: Luke 21:20-24 and Matthew 24:3. @valari5714 That’s not what the title “Vicar of Christ” means. The Vicar of Christ is his representative on Earth while The Lord rules in Heaven. Think of the relationship between a Prime Minister and the King of a nation. He’s not the head of state, he’s the head of the government and the chief executive official. He has no power save that which Christ gives him. It’s a very reasonable position and something required for an organization of global scale to even function. People are absolutely dog water at organization and without a conductor the orchestra becomes a cacophony of meaningless drivel that signifies everything and stands for nothing. I went through exactly what you’re going through. I struggled with my salvation, I thought I sinned too much to be forgiven, I thought “what if I forgot to confess a sin” and was worried I wasn’t forgiven. But that’s all making us the center and not God. We don’t save ourselves. believing that Jesus Christ saved us on the cross by dying for all sin is enough. He paid for all sins. Past, present and future. Nothing you do will catch him off guard, yet he still saved you and loves you. You are completely forgiven if you believe in the gospel. That he lived perfectly for you, that he died for you and all your sins and rose again for you

As another Catholic, this video isn't accurate. The "sacrifice" being referred to in Daniel 12:11(referenced in Matthew 24:15, which the narrator mentions) is not the sacrifice in the Temple but that of the Eucharist. The fascination that some of our brothers in Christ have with Israel is based on a falsehood.

The third temple is the body of Jesus after the resurrection. This is why he said he’d rip down the 2nd one, and rebuild it in 3 days. Check the gospel of Luke or John for this.

It makes sense, but the way I look at it is this. Anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ is an antichrist. Anyone who believes Jesus is the Christ has the Holy Spirit, yeah? If someone has the Holy Spirit, they're covered by the blood and extended grace. The Holy Spirit is required to enter the temple in our hearts. Anyone without the Holy Spirit would only be able to proclaim themselves God in a temple if it's a physical temple. I've thought long and hard about this specific topic, as when I received the Holy Spirit, I had absolutely no idea about any of this. I just knew I had some kind of power, and for a brief time, I thought I was God. Thought I was a lot of things, to be honest. I was heavily into drugs, so you can imagine where my mind went. Shortly after, I became extremely aware of the fact that I was not God. The Holy Spirit has brought me through all of it, forever abiding as He is. He definitely showed me everything I have done wrong in my life, and brought about radical repentance in many areas. If He can bring about such change in my life, knowing how far gone my heart was, even after I received the Holy Spirit, I don't think it's possible for anyone who believes in Jesus as their Savior to be the Man of Lawlessness. Basically either I'm literally that guy, or it's a physical temple being referred to.

Actually this is straight out of the Bible itself. Even Jesus Himself spoke on this and was clear there would be a nation of Israel and a Temple in the great tribulation period. These two comments remind me of what happened when Jesus got arrested. Peter knew what was going to happen and felt the urge to "set things right". He drew out his sword and severed the ear off one of the high priests arresting Jesus. Peter though that he was doing a good thing by trying to protect him, but Jesus got on to Peter for trying to interfere with God's promise to the world cause Peter's attempt of rescue basically meant that he didn't want to have Jesus crucified to die for our sins. That is at least in his lifetime. As much as it pains me to say this, we need the promise of Revelation to be fulfilled so that sin can no longer plague God's people and we can finally reunite with our holy father in Heaven. If that means we'll have to see people take the Mark of the Beast while we're up in Heaven, then unfortunately so be it. That just means that now more than ever, we NEED to get more of our friends, family, and as many people as we can saved like Jesus would want us to do. Please take these concerns and use them to go forth and make disciples.

I'm no expert on this topic by any means so take my word with a grain of salt, but I think it's specifically blasphemy of the Holy Spirit that's unforgiveable, not blasphemy in general. People have different interpretations of what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is, but the verses that mention it would be Matthew 12:22-32. I have no authority to teach, so I recommend you read it for yourself and study the passage's meaning afterwards. 🙂
The general rule of thumb with this sin is if you’re concerned about committing it, you likely haven’t committed it. The exact definition of what it means doesn’t seem to be fully nailed down, but here’s a few interpretations I’ve been taught and heard. •With full knowledge and uncorrupted will still choosing to side with the devil or his angels. •With full knowledge of what you’re doing openly claiming that the work of the Holy Spirit (miracles) are actually from the devil. •Flagrantly rejecting God’s offer of forgiveness either because you believe you don’t need it or don’t deserve it. The general thread that unifies all these interpretations is that it’s not unforgivable because the person has done something uniquely wrong. It’s unforgivable because that person just doesn’t want to be with God and will just never accept what is offered. Generally speaking those who actually do care and wish to be with God won’t do these things.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord & believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Repentance & baptism are also important!!) Yeah technically it would be a good thing. But for non-christians, it will be a traumatic event that will only get progressively worse. It'll be good for those who believe, but bad for those who don't. This is the reason so many of us worry that we may not bring enough people to Jesus in time..
No. The end times bring destruction you've never seen before. It is not a good thing, it is a terrible thing. Christians are protected from it through the rapture, but Christians who convert after are doomed to suffering, torture, and scapegoated as the bad guys while enduring that persecution.

The Abomination of Desolation that Jesus talks about in Matthew 24 is clearly discussed in a context of the generation of his disciple's time. With that context, we should be cautious to make a connection between 2 Thessalonians and Matthew with our modern time in mind. If we point back to the Mount of Olives discourse, we should be hesitant to extract meaning that is outside of the context of the disciples' lifetime. Josephus wrote historical reports of some wondrous events that many people in Jerusalem witnessed. There was a reason all the Christians in Jerusalem fled when the Roman army came and began their siege of Jerusalem. It was because Jesus had warned them to flee to the hills outside of the city (in Matthew 24) and they responded immediately in that moment. What makes you certain that this very same discourse would then be related to the Man of Lawlessness in conjunction with our lifetime?
Yeah that just does not work. Jesus described a WORLD WIDE tribulation where all flesh on the earth was in danger of being destroyed. No such thing took place in 70 AD, not even close. There was one tiny province that was wiped out. Furthermore according the Jesus own words and the rest of the NT that final tribulation ends with the 2nd coming and the victory of the saints and them reigning on earth with Jesus for 1000 years. None of that took place in 70 AD. In 70 AD, ROME WON, they destroyed the temple, the Jews were to saved, there was no 2nd coming and Christians were genocided and burned alive for the next 300 years by Rome.

Actually modern Israel is EXACTLY what was predicted to happen in the ed time in Ezekiel 36-39 and several other prophecies. A nation of people who come out from having lived in nations across the earth for generations, returning as a mixed people from all across the earth. If its was some pure 12 tribe people of pure blood who had accepted Jesus the all of the OT prophets on this would have been wrong. Instead they say it will be a mixed up people coming from nations all across the earth returning to the Holy land and they won;t accept Jesus until very late in the tribulation. Read Zechariah 14, Joel 1-3, Ezekiel 36-39, etc. Israel is not right with God when the tribulation begin, its a nation full of sin still rejecting God ad their Messiah.

Except the AOD is not set up on the temple mount, its set up in the Holiest of Holies according to the actual text and that has not existed for 2000 years. It wonn't until a new Temple is built.

i've been hearing the same thing for many years. Isaac Newton spent decades calculating when Jesus Christ will return. in the end Newton chose the year 2060 as the earliest likely date. consider that many Christians believe some who witnessed Israel become a nation again in 1948 will also see the return of Jesus. it is generally agree the longest a person can live in our era is about 120 years. 1948 + 120 = 2068. right in Newton's ballpark.
I don’t like predicting the second coming, but from the way things are now I could easily see that date being accurate. Then again people said the same thing during the World Wars and the Reformation before that and the Black Death before that and the Crusades before that, etc, etc. In any case focus more on your own personal judgement day. We may or may not live to see the second coming, but we’re all going to judgement at the time of our deaths. You left out the other part......"until you say blessed is HE that comes in the name of the Lord". Whether you like it or not, Jesus, Paul and John all clearly wrote there would be a nation of Israel and a new Temple in the great tribulation.
I don't think we will see a new temple in our lifetimes. The Temple Mount is currently where the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque are located, 2 of the holiest sites for Islam. In particular, the Dome of the Rock is located smack dab right in the center of the mount site. If Israel wanted to build a new temple on the old temple mount, it would have to share it with the other 2 Muslim holy sites. It would also cause a lot of outrage from the Islamic nations surrounding Israel. Muslims currently manage the site and they have voiced opposition to talks about rebuilding the temple. In short, there's no way Israel pulls the trigger on this without extreme backlash from its Islamic neighbors, and could even escalate into a regional war. It's not happening.

Daniel 9:26 says the Temple will be destroyed FIRST, then in 9:27 it says the peace deal will be made. How can this be the period where the temple is rebuilt if the temple is supposedly destroyed before this deal?

There was no peace treaty in the 1st century, there was no world wide tribulation, there was no mass death of over half the earth population, there s no 2nd coming of Jesus. The events of 70 AD simply do not match up with the text. There was no world wide tribulation, there was no mass death of over half the earth, there was no mark of the beast as described in Revelation. ROME WON. There was no 2nd coming and Christians were slaughtered by Rome for the next 300 years. The 2000 year gap/Christian age is not just suggested in Daniel 9, its suggested in mutiple places throughout the Bible.

That's just the nature of science, and with a religion based around something that's constantly changing its more than possible for them to change as well. And considering they believe we are all ancestors of aliens, i don't think its too out of the picture for them to have a prophet like person in the future that claims themselves to be one of the real original aliens (or god) and demonizing all the other religions of the world. Why the need for a temple? When Jesus Christ tore the veil once and for all. And that we can worship the Father anywhere in spirit and in truth.
Why the need for sacrifices and offerings? When we know that Christ is the only atonement for us. His righteousness is what cleanse us and brings us to the Father.
We don’t need another physical temple anywhere in Israel because the body of Christ which is His church (anyone that proclaims Him as the way, the truth, and the life) is the temple that houses God’s Holy Spirit and how God moves into this world.
I am not against the Jews. I love them. And we should bring them the message that the Kingdom is here and the King is Jesus Christ who was prophesied by the prophets of antiquity and by God Himself.
Therefore let us stop obsessing about the end times and focus on the Great Commission of bringing the gospel to the ends of the earth. Both to Jews and Gentiles.
For those concerned about Eschatology (study of the end times), the abomination of desolation mentioned by Jesus was in the context of the Second Temple’s desolation which happened on 70AD when the romans subjugated Judea and Israel. This was the end of the age mentioned by John in Revelations. The end of the old covenant age and the birth of the new covenant age in Christ Jesus. And it was God who destroyed the temple in Jerusalem through the romans like He did with the first temple through the Babylonians. If you don’t believe me, at least believe Jesus Christ by looking into these verses in the Bible: Luke 21:20-24 and Matthew 24:3.

That’s not what the title “Vicar of Christ” means. The Vicar of Christ is his representative on Earth while The Lord rules in Heaven. Think of the relationship between a Prime Minister and the King of a nation. He’s not the head of state, he’s the head of the government and the chief executive official. He has no power save that which Christ gives him.
It’s a very reasonable position and something required for an organization of global scale to even function. I struggled with my salvation, I thought I sinned too much to be forgiven, I thought “what if I forgot to confess a sin” and was worried I wasn’t forgiven. But that’s all making us the center and not God. We don’t save ourselves. believing that Jesus Christ saved us on the cross by dying for all sin is enough. He paid for all sins. Past, present and future. Nothing you do will catch him off guard, yet he still saved you and loves you. You are completely forgiven if you believe in the gospel. That he lived perfectly for you, that he died for you and all your sins and rose again for you

As another Catholic, this video isn't accurate. The "sacrifice" being referred to in Daniel 12:11(referenced in Matthew 24:15, which the narrator mentions) is not the sacrifice in the Temple but that of the Eucharist. The fascination that some of our brothers in Christ have with Israel is based on a falsehood.

The third temple is the body of Jesus after the resurrection. This is why he said he’d rip down the 2nd one, and rebuild it in 3 days. Check the gospel of Luke or John for this.

The temple that the prophesy speaks of can be meant in 2 ways. The first way is how the Holy Spirit dwells in us, and our body is God’s temple. The man of lawlessness, most likely the devil, would enter the man’s mind. Therefore, a man proclaiming to be God would fit that.The second interpretation would just only be a physical church building.
It makes sense, but the way I look at it is this.
Anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ is an antichrist. Anyone who believes Jesus is the Christ has the Holy Spirit, yeah? If someone has the Holy Spirit, they're covered by the blood and extended grace. The Holy Spirit is required to enter the temple in our hearts. Anyone without the Holy Spirit would only be able to proclaim themselves God in a temple if it's a physical temple. I've thought long and hard about this specific topic, as when I received the Holy Spirit, I had absolutely no idea about any of this. I just knew I had some kind of power, and for a brief time, I thought I was God. Thought I was a lot of things, to be honest. I was heavily into drugs, so you can imagine where my mind went. Shortly after, I became extremely aware of the fact that I was not God. The Holy Spirit has brought me through all of it, forever abiding as He is. He definitely showed me everything I have done wrong in my life, and brought about radical repentance in many areas. If He can bring about such change in my life, knowing how far gone my heart was, even after I received the Holy Spirit, I don't think it's possible for anyone who believes in Jesus as their Savior to be the Man of Lawlessness. Basically either I'm literally that guy, or it's a physical temple being referred to.
It's like God showed me what He saved me from. What I could have been, had He not stepped in and given me a new heart. A hearing heart. Unless people will receive the Holy Spirit and not turn around eventually. Which is a very sad thought.
Only those that are saved will receive the Holy Spirit an ad its written he will lead us in all truth as its written. These two comments remind me of what happened when Jesus got arrested. Peter knew what was going to happen and felt the urge to "set things right". He drew out his sword and severed the ear off one of the high priests arresting Jesus. Peter though that he was doing a good thing by trying to protect him, but Jesus got on to Peter for trying to interfere with God's promise to the world cause Peter's attempt of rescue basically meant that he didn't want to have Jesus crucified to die for our sins. That is at least in his lifetime.
As much as it pains me to say this, we need the promise of Revelation to be fulfilled so that sin can no longer plague God's people and we can finally reunite with our holy father in Heaven. If that means we'll have to see people take the Mark of the Beast while we're up in Heaven, then unfortunately so be it. That just means that now more than ever, we NEED to get more of our friends, family, and as many people as we can saved like Jesus would want us to do. Please take these concerns and use them to go forth and make disciples.

I'm no expert on this topic by any means so take my word with a grain of salt, but I think it's specifically blasphemy of the Holy Spirit that's unforgiveable, not blasphemy in general. People have different interpretations of what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is, but the verses that mention it would be Matthew 12:22-32. I have no authority to teach, so I recommend you read it for yourself and study the passage's meaning afterwards. 🙂
The general rule of thumb with this sin is if you’re concerned about committing it, you likely haven’t committed it. The exact definition of what it means doesn’t seem to be fully nailed down, but here’s a few interpretations I’ve been taught and heard.
•With full knowledge and uncorrupted will still choosing to side with the devil or his angels.
•With full knowledge of what you’re doing openly claiming that the work of the Holy Spirit (miracles) are actually from the devil.
•Flagrantly rejecting God’s offer of forgiveness either because you believe you don’t need it or don’t deserve it.
The general thread that unifies all these interpretations is that it’s not unforgivable because the person has done something uniquely wrong. It’s unforgivable because that person just doesn’t want to be with God and will just never accept what is offered. Generally speaking those who actually do care and wish to be with God won’t do these things.
Jesus died for our sins, was buried, then rose from the dead 3 days later so that we may have eternal life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord & believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Repentance & baptism are also important!!) I pray & ask for eternal life, living water, & holy olive oil over you & your family bloodline; in Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏻🖤✝️

The Abomination of Desolation that Jesus talks about in Matthew 24 is clearly discussed in a context of the generation of his disciple's time. With that context, we should be cautious to make a connection between 2 Thessalonians and Matthew with our modern time in mind. If we point back to the Mount of Olives discourse, we should be hesitant to extract meaning that is outside of the context of the disciples' lifetime. Josephus wrote historical reports of some wondrous events that many people in Jerusalem witnessed. There was a reason all the Christians in Jerusalem fled when the Roman army came and began their siege of Jerusalem. It was because Jesus had warned them to flee to the hills outside of the city (in Matthew 24) and they responded immediately in that moment.
What makes you certain that this very same discourse would then be related to the Man of Lawlessness in conjunction with our lifetime?
Yeah that just does not work. Jesus described a WORLD WIDE tribulation where all flesh on the earth was in danger of being destroyed. No such thing took place in 70 AD, not even close. There was one tiny province that was wiped out. Furthermore according the Jesus own words and the rest of the NT that final tribulation ends with the 2nd coming and the victory of the saints and them reigning on earth with Jesus for 1000 years. None of that took place in 70 AD.
In 70 AD, ROME WON, they destroyed the temple, the Jews were to saved, there was no 2nd coming and Christians were genocided and burned alive for the next 300 years by Rome.

Actually modern Israel is EXACTLY what was predicted to happen in the ed time in Ezekiel 36-39 and several other prophecies. A nation of people who come out from having lived in nations across the earth for generations, returning as a mixed people from all across the earth.
If its was some pure 12 tribe people of pure blood who had accepted Jesus the all of the OT prophets on this would have been wrong.
Instead they say it will be a mixed up people coming from nations all across the earth returning to the Holy land and they won;t accept Jesus until very late in the tribulation.
Read Zechariah 14, Joel 1-3, Ezekiel 36-39, etc. Israel is not right with God when the tribulation begin, its a nation full of sin still rejecting God ad their Messiah.

@@JimRaven-f1n That just isn’t true. We are not a sideshow. God chose them to deliver his prophecies too, and for his son to be born as one of them as a man, but just because Jesus was Jewish doesn’t mean gentiles are any less important to god.

@@CptDawner That MAY have been a bit harsh. It is true to say that salvation came through the Jews in the person of Jesus Christ, however. God worked with the Jews for millennia to prepare them for the coming of His Son. I wanted to emphasise that. The Gentiles are just as important to God, you are absolutely correct; what I SHOULD have said is the World seems so consumed with its own matters that it has forgotten to watch the Jews. Except the AOD is not set up on the temple mount, its set up in the Holiest of Holies according to the actual text and that has not existed for 2000 years. It wonn't until a new Temple is built.

i've been hearing the same thing for many years. Isaac Newton spent decades calculating when Jesus Christ will return. in the end Newton chose the year 2060 as the earliest likely date. consider that many Christians believe some who witnessed Israel become a nation again in 1948 will also see the return of Jesus. it is generally agree the longest a person can live in our era is about 120 years. 1948 + 120 = 2068. right in Newton's ballpark.
I don’t like predicting the second coming, but from the way things are now I could easily see that date being accurate. Then again people said the same thing during the World Wars and the Reformation before that and the Black Death before that and the Crusades before that, etc, etc.
In any case focus more on your own personal judgement day. We may or may not live to see the second coming, but we’re all going to judgement at the time of our deaths. Keep in a state of grace, use the tools given to us if you’re Catholic and get started on becoming one if you’re not.

I don't think we will see a new temple in our lifetimes. The Temple Mount is currently where the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque are located, 2 of the holiest sites for Islam. In particular, the Dome of the Rock is located smack dab right in the center of the mount site. If Israel wanted to build a new temple on the old temple mount, it would have to share it with the other 2 Muslim holy sites. It would also cause a lot of outrage from the Islamic nations surrounding Israel. Muslims currently manage the site and they have voiced opposition to talks about rebuilding the temple. In short, there's no way Israel pulls the trigger on this without extreme backlash from its Islamic neighbors, and could even escalate into a regional war. It's not happening.

Daniel 9:26 says the Temple will be destroyed FIRST, then in 9:27 it says the peace deal will be made. How can this be the period where the temple is rebuilt if the temple is supposedly destroyed before this deal?

There was no peace treaty in the 1st century, there was no world wide tribulation, there was no mass death of over half the earth population, there s no 2nd coming of Jesus. ROME WON, Christians were persecuted and genocide for another 300 years after 70 AD.

The events of 70 AD simply do not match up with the text. There was no world wide tribulation, there was no mass death of over half the earth, there was no mark of the beast as described in Revelation. ROME WON. There was no 2nd coming and Christians were slaughtered by Rome for the next 300 years.
The 2000 year gap/Christian age is not just suggested in Daniel 9, its suggested in mutiple places throughout the Bible.

In short you know as well as I do most of Christendom has long believed there is a 2000 year gap before the 70th week of Daniel. It seems to be clearly hinted at and suggest in mutiple paces in the Bible.

@@Rapture6199Maybe not at this point in time, however science is constantly being pushed forwards and our understanding of the world and the universe changes after every new discovery. That's just the nature of science, and with a religion based around something that's constantly changing its more than possible for them to change as well. And considering they believe we are all ancestors of aliens, i don't think its too out of the picture for them to have a prophet like person in the future that claims themselves to be one of the real original aliens (or god) and demonizing all the other religions of the world.
I know the theory is a little out there, I just think it would be a neat and silly little outcome.
