MrGSTAR321 what a great video. Totally agree, Streets Of Rage 2 is one of the best games on the Sega Genesis or Mega Drive console. I consider this game is much better than the famous Final Fight and Double Dragon.
The NES port of _Double Dragon_ is great, especially the music, but it does have its drawbacks. The biggest NES omission is that you can't play cooperative 2-player, and I find the requirement for precise timing to get past the sliding blocks annoying (you'd think we could just jump across the top).
Love this game to death. It was all I played back when I had my Mega Drive as a kid. :) Did you ever plan on doing Streets of Rage 3 at any point? That is the hardest one in my opinion... I never have been able to beat that game on hardest at any point in my life. (not even now) Awesome playthrough, by the way, as usual. "Bare Knuckle" is the name of Streets of Rage in Japan, so they're technically breaking the fourth wall, sorta... well at least referencing itself.
Ur pretty knowledgeable about the fighting system that i'm surprised u didn't know about the pressing up and jump button trick when been thrown, which helps u land on ur feet and take no damage.

They don't look like perfect apples, but they're also too deformed to be cakes. And cherries don't provide subsistence like apples do. And the stick at the top make far more sense as being the stem of an apple than as being anything on a cake. Simple elimination logic, haha.
I really wish you'd do Streets of rage 1, still an awesome game, with awesome music. Also why not do some Killer instinct 1 and 2 arcade! I really would love to see you do those.

This is my favorite in the series, as many people can attest. Not as many moves as in Streets of Rage 3 - but imo this actually looks better. Awesome music and balance 📊 between the characters... My favorite is Max; the slowest, but his power reigns supreme. 😉
@GSTAR321 there is a difficulty level called “Mania”... if you beat the game on the hardest level you’ll see the message... it also allows you to start with more lives... try it out
you should try SoR Remake v5. it's a total make over of this. new levels, new bosses, new weapons. it's great. and much harder. please consider doing a playthrough Gstar
I played SOR2 and I completed the whole game and defeating enemies that subjugated the streets and Adam has been kidnapped by Mr.X’s thugs and four heroes 🦸♀️🦸 🦸♂️ 🦸 arrives on the streets and rescue their friend Adam and defeat Mr.X and his thugs and put his syndicate that subjugated the whole street out of action and freed Adam and got a helicopter 🚁 ride home. 👍
Some guys have remade streets of rage. Its called SOR remake v5.1 and its on PC. It's essentially a mix up of all the streets of rages. U can even change the settings to turn on/off running and shit like that. Its quite comprehensive! But the shitty thing is, the ai is bullshit. In streets of rage 1, if you hit an enemy, he got micro stunned. In remake, their stun time is wayy too short. U cant even follow up a hit with a grab, they'll just hit u.
Always loved this game and unfortunately never grew up with it. I usually used Blaze. It's one of the cartridges I am missing from my Genesis collection that I need to get a hold of!
theres a hacked version of this game called the syndicate wars. allows u to play everyone including the enemies and mr x. did the run with shiva and y-signal. easy with shiva but hard as hell with signal

I frigging love this game, but it is actually pretty easy if you take Axel...even on the hardest level it only really gets tough towards the end when those "atom" and "molecule" robots come out... :)

good lp on normal difficulty i did manage to beat this as axel by only using the neutral kich and grand upper and special attacks
